These are best recessed LED lights I have installed so far. cut-out template ( round) is 6.1 inch.Things I liked about these over my past LED purchases.1. Metal junction box included.2. ETL certified LEDs/Driver3. Suitable for DAMP locations. ( I am using these strictly indoors though)4. LED driver to LED light is threaded connector which is much safer. Other manufactures use twist and lock which fails most of the time.5. metal spring clip is preinstalled on LED lights with thick plastic tab. This makes install much easier.Metal junction box is 3.5"X3.5" . Overall this is an excellent value for the price.

These lights work, they're pretty okay. They're bright, and easy to install. I was just extremely disappointed to find out that I can't dim them with standard off-the-shelf dimmers from both Lowes and Home Depot. After calling Lutron and troubleshooting the issue, it turns out that these are just not compatible with the standard line of dimmers. They're sending me the "Pro" version of the dimmer to test, which ties into neutral. We'll see how it goes, but either way, it's extra time, spending, and disappointment.

great led pancake lights, dimming works great with a cheap dimmer switch from Amazon, great advantage you can install them anywhere, because they are as thick as the sheetrock. Measuring, marking location and pulling romex is quite difficult and time consuming.

Mapping out where you want them is the hardest part. Get the proper size holesaw or use the template and a utility knife. There’s gonna be a mess to clean up no matter what you do. But the satisfaction when your done is priceless. I wired mine into an existing can light j- box.

Must buy!!!! Amazing all my clients love these lights I’m an electrician this are great for residential and commercial use I recommend these lights for home diy with such a simple installation process I think it’s a great inexpensive light with a wide range of options for different types of jobs

So far so good. Good price and the package is neat and look like it was done with care and quality. Can't wait to update the review as I'll install the lights and see quality in work .
