great dog-walking boots
i was a bit dubious given their cheapness [around £6 per boot] but i thought i`d give them a go as the rather more expensive pair i bought didn`t last long before one of them split.so, i thought, i`ll just get some cheapos and if they crap out i won`t have lost much..anyway, these fit my narrow feet to a tee and are very comfortable.the `horseshoe` heel really bites into the mud and combined with the deep tread gives great traction and sure-footedness. the description mentions work boots, but you wouldn`t wear these on a building site- they`ll be fine for gardening and, obviously, a bit of yomping mit hund.they are quite light, and are easy to get on and off, and having survived my destruction test fully deserve 5*****.if this changes i`ll update and let you know, but for now- great stuff!Update: three months later and still going strong.

Buyer beware. Seller doesn't check sizes before dispatching.
My son has worn this boots for years when coming round to do my garden. They are great for easily slipping on and off and also great for wearing over jeans and thick socks due to the smaller and wider cuff. However, they do tend to split along the ankle after a while which is why I had to buy another pair for him.Sadly, UK Farm Stores did not check the sizing on the boots properly before shipping them to me. I ordered a size 9. The labels said size 9 but the bottom of the boots said size 8. Not happy as I have to pay my son to come and fetch them to return them as fuel is expensive at the moment and I am disabled and housebound.Returned and won't be buying from this company again!

Ok boots but walls a bit thin
These boots are ok once they are on but difficult to put on as ankle is quite narrow and the rubber compound is not stiff enough so when putting your foot in the side walls collapse and could cause one to trip unless sitting down. They should stand up by themselves ideally. My pair is waterproof but I cant speak about durability yet as I've only had them for two weeks. The thinness of the side walls leads me to suggest they may not last long. Not the quality I was expecting from Dunlop. Are they genuine? Definitely not the best boots I have owned.July 2021 - Updated after wearing for four months. Great improvement as they now stand up by themselves without flopping over so much better for me. I have upgraded the star rating. I may try to find a toe protector version.

Incredibly uncomfortable boots.
Wow, got my usual size 9 boots - tend to go a tad bigger than my actual feet size due to the amount of walking I do, even with putting in a solid reliable arch fit type inner sole, even a very steady 2 mile walk is horrendously painful on balls of the foot, toes etc. Honestly can't describe how poor these are - Jeez first outing in the so called safety boots - my socks we're wet so these are not even 100% waterproof which I'm guessing should be standard for Wellington boots! Cheaply made, thin material to boot "pardon the pun" I in no way shape or form could recommend anyone purchasing these - 1/5 stars is a very fair & honest assessment, mine we're returned for a refund.
