The added spice may or may not appeal
This is a high-quality, organic, culinary matcha offering wide-ranging health benefits. It comes in a useful, resealable sachet. Recipes using it in cakes, desserts and more are readily available. It's culinary matcha, not ceremonial. Ceremonial matcha makes a lovely hot drink but this is cheaper and still pleasant enough as a drink. I just add a teaspoonful to a cup of hot water (and stir frequently while drinking, because it isn’t very soluble). Others may want to use milk or part milk. It’s perfect, of course, for use in recipes, and you’ll find plenty of those on the www.The ashwagandha they add to this blend is supposed to be good for the immune system and may reduce tiredness. They also add a small amount of cinnamon and black pepper. I quite like the mix, but would prefer to buy a plain matcha and add my own extras, if any.At £7.99 for 30 grams, this is an expensive culinary matcha, even if organic and undoubtedly high quality. Regardless of price, do try a plain matcha first. Add a little cinnamon and pepper to a small portion and, if you like it, perhaps buy this blend from Vahdam.

Good but crazy expensive
Weird ingredients in this matcha I can handle the cinnamon but why put pepper in it? it’s such a small bag for a high price and getting matcha on prime seems to be problematic which is the only reason I bought this small bag at such a high price, you can def get cheaper organic matcha elsewhere which is why I won’t purchase again, sorry but it’s too expensive

The bag is advertised as 50g but it's 30g instead
I'm sorry but this is a FALSE advertisement. Please update the product description with the right content weight. Now I have to return it, which is an inconvenience because the Amazon locker is far away.

The taste isn't right for me
I bought a few different matcha teas to try as a latte, this one didnt work for me. Not a nice taste at the end, as it didnt dissolve into the milk well.If your preference is a latte, try elsewhere. If you prefer in water it could be OK.Mighty matcha or Bloom are my favourites so far!

Perfect
I drink green tea for effect, not for taste, as I'm not a fan of its weird bitterness. The flavour of this Vahdam organic green tea with ashwagandha, cinnamon and black pepper is preferable to that of just plain green tea. The cinnamon and the black pepper add some spiciness to the drink, as well as improving the absorption of the beneficial compounds in green tea and ashwagandha. So this is a well designed blend, both in terms of flavour and efficacy. I recommend taking it with some honey stirred in. This improves the flavour and adds even more health benefits to the drink. The current price for this small packet is £7.99. It makes 15 drinks, which works out at just under 52p per cup. That's a lot more expensive than regular tea - even organic Darjeeling brews - but this blend is worth the extra for the health benefits it delivers. This tea comes as a fine green powder to be stirred into boiling water. One recommendation I'd give the manufacturer - put the word ORGANIC in big letters on the front of the packet and also in the list of ingredients. Currently it's mentioned only once on the container, in micro-small print, like a dirty secret. The organic nature of this product is its biggest selling point.
