Disappointed
Seems like a nice product but I had a bottle of hardener that was semi hard out of the bottle. That meant it didn’t set up right and have a mess now.Wont us this again there’s cheaper and probably better. Also never did get a response back from the company.

Liquid Gold!
Super easy to use! I’m new to heating resin, but the directions were clear and concise.I stuck the bottles into a tub of HOT water and let them sit for 20 minutes (instructions say 5, but I love how easily it spread if you wait longer). It spreads like butter, seriously. I get some bubbles, but I use my torch to eliminate those. The curing time is exceptional; I’m not waiting for a month for the glasslike finish and hardness. I wait about 3 weeks before I sell my products to clients. The heat resistance was a HUGE factor for me, as I primarily make coasters. I can say with full confidence, that this stuff is like liquid gold. I took my tea kettle straight from the stovetop and placed it onto a trivet for about 5 minutes. There’s no rings, dents, or sinking.Yes, it’s expensive, but you get what you pay for!LOVE IT!

Coasters with Resin
I liked that they directed you to watch a video, however, mine was for coasters not cabinet. I was terrified to do it, but they turned out beautiful. Be sure to purchase a small hand held propane. This helps get the bubbles out. I would recommend this to a friend.

Best resin ever 🎸
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I watched this guy’s vids and he is pretty cool. I was researching for a later project on my kitchen. Then I decided to give Art Coat a try because I needed a slow cure resin just to trat how good the resin really was and because price-wise (and attribute wise) this seemed to me like a good deal.Well, it IS . For a product this good, and cheaper than most per ounce, this can’t be beat. It cures way slower than Clearcast 7000 and Art n Glow; it’s also cheaper than them. It does seem to create more air once I mix it with a drill (compared to Clearcast 7000 which air disappears once you degass and mix it properly) but since I am curing my stuff on a pressure chamber my results have been fantastic. Do not underestimate the SLOW CURE detail! It will remain sticky for hours on end, and pliable for at least 15 hours but once it does hardens, it’s rock solid. It blends wonderfully with alcohol ink and my Arteza acrylic premium. At this time I have absolutely NO complaints about this resin which is now my favorite one. I hope to be able to buy some more soon so I can create more.

Great Product!
I am a first time user and I love this product! It’s easy to use and has very little odor. Make sure to use personal protective equipment to use safely. The only thing that would make this product better is more written instructions instead of pointing to the website (there’s very little specifically about Art Coat). You can watch a lot of videos for mor instruction.

Do not use for tumblers!
Do yourself a favor and DO NOT buy this for tumblers. It might be great for countertops and other projects....I don't know. I am a beginner tumbler maker, but I have made enough to go through my first 8 oz of Alumilite Amazing Clear Cast Epoxy. I think making tumblers is fun. I like to be creative and see what I can do with them. I used the acrylic colors, dawn spray paint trick, and glitter. The first and only cup I did with this epoxy was so frustrating. The first coat seemed to be pulling back from the rim and the bottom. I smoothed it and smoothed it. I left it for a bit and smoothed it again. Came back in the morning and it looks like when you put water on a water resistant windshield. Many large areas where it moved away from cup. The cup was level and it happened at top and bottom. This is a different cup too. It's a pre-painted cup, but I have used one of those before. I thought I cleaned it well. I knew I couldn't sand it without a whole first coat of epoxy. So I waited and put another coat on. Bubbles! Sooo many bubbles! I used 40 oz on a 30oz cup for second coat. I used the heat gun....still bubbles. Used it again, the epoxy started to drip off (a lot of it). It was still pulling away from the rim before dripping off. Doubtful, I can salvage this cup. I already have an order for Aluminite to arrive tomorrow.
