I was tormented with a small deep splinter in the center of my middle finger - right in the middle of the fingerprint. I dug with a needle to expose it but could not get a hold on it with tweezers - including some "good" pair that always worked on less challenging splinters. The splinter was tightly wedged straight down into the "meat" of my finger and would not budge. The tweezers would lose their grip and not budge the splinter.Often with a splinter, the skin around it will swell in time and make it easier to scrape away a section to remove the splinter. I decided to wait until that happened and, if that didn't happen, make a doctor's appointment.Let me add I don't have an issue with pain. Usually, I can dig away in my fingers or hands when I have a splinter. This time, it was in such a sensitive area and pointed deep down in the finger, I just could not get deep enough.Wanting to avoid future issues like this, I decided to upgrade my tweezers. I found these on Amazon and ordered them -- thinking that surely I would get this out before they arrived, but I would have them if this happened again. Two days later, when the package arrived, I still had the splinter and by now my finger was quite swollen.I quickly opened the package and go to work. I carefully probed with the fine-pointed tweezers (that are nearly as fine and sharp as a needle) in this package and in just a few seconds, I had the splinter out. Wow. What a relief.These are extremely well made, strong, and precise. Are they pricey compared to regular tweezers? Absolutely, but they are not regular tweezers. These are in the class of surgical instruments and are cheap for the quality.

This item is of good quality and sturdy build. Would definitely buy again.

I purchased these in pink a few years ago and love them. I decided to buy them again in rose gold but when they arrived, only one was rose gold and the other was copper. I thought this was just a mistake and exchanged them for another pair. However, when the replacement came, it was the same. Very disappointed they're not both what they're advertised to be.

my regular drug store tweezers did an okay job, but couldn’t get me deep enough to get the thick course ingrown hairs near my eyebrows. the thin tweezers are perfect! be careful because they are super pointy and sharp lol. they are such amazing quality and i really love the case it came in, perfect for keeping in my purse or travelling. gonna be my go to gift for friends and family
