These penlights are not the most durable lights but, they do help with cost since you dont have to throw away the penlight after the battery dies. It is your standard light with operation via the pen-style clip.Overall I love these but, would not suggest using in an ambulance just due to the durability factor but, for everyday carry this is amazingly helpful!

These pen lights are nice and sturdy. There very well made and I love the fact that they don't turn on in my scrub pockets. I have handed out several of these to my other nursing school cohorts who also appreciate that these don't waste battery life like the other pen lights, with the push button top, that are always out of juice when you need them. That's unacceptable for patient care. These are bookmarked (in case I lose them) and I'll probably hand them out as handy practical gifts for nurse friends as well.
