The Dove for Men smells great, I buy it for my husband.
I am always buying skin care products for my family. I take extra care to make sure everyone in my house is using products that are worth the purchase. The Dove Deodorant works well and smells the way a good deodorant should smell, fresh but not flowery. Even playing golf or tennis, Dove Deodorant holds up and keeps my husband feeling confident about not having unfriendly issues with perspiration.

Awesome stuff!
I have long been on the quest for a good antiperspirant, especially one that does not stay on your clothes. I use this in combination with the body wash and notice my skin softer and does not dry out as easily. It also smells good and keep me from pitting out!

Picture is old, this is the new version of the product
Dove has updated this product with a new active ingredient. The old active ingredient, aliminum zirconium tetrachlorohydrex GLY, has been replaced with aluminum sesquichlorohydrate. At time of this review, the picture in the product listing is for the old version. The picture I've attached is the new one, and it's what I received. Dove kept the exact same UPC code for the replacement. If you've ever worked in retail, you'll know this means that despite the change, it is the exact same product for inventory purposes. This means the version you get may depend on how much of a particular vendor's stock has been cycled out.Many antiperspirants have made the same change recently. I looked up why; apparently the reason for the switch is that the latter ingredient is less likely to cause allergic rash/itching/irritation. However, the new ingredient does affect the scent. I used to use the "extra fresh" scent, but I hated the smell after the ingredient change, so I switched to this "cool" scent.I have no expectation that any antiperspirant would last 72 hours, nor do I plan to go three days without showering to test this claim. It smells fine, gets me through the day, and doesn't irritate.
