Great Body Wash
Pros:- lasted 3 months of daily use (longer than any other solid body wash I've used)- leaves you feeling clean and refreshed- not drying on the skin (for body, mileage may vary on face)- easy to use and hold.- Great for traveling, just pop it in a tin.Cons:- the scent as you use it isn't quite to my taste but when you rinse the scent goes and you're just left smelling clean, so I've not knocked off a star for it.- solid body washes take a bit longer to use than traditional bottled ones, so showers take a bit longer.Tips to prolong use:- store on a slotted soap dish, out of the shower if possible so it can dry thoroughly between uses- don't use directly on skin, rub onto a flannel or sisal soap cloth before use to use less product per wash.

Good grip, lasts for ages.
Scents:Lemon - Fake lemon, think cleaning products, but not overpowering. Not my favourite, but nice enough.Marine - Fruity and fresh, notes of pineapple. Lynx springs to mind.Noir - Standard bar-soap smell, e.g. Imperial Leather.(Forgive my descriptions, they're all pleasant, but the listings are quite vague, so I hope this makes it easier to choose)Pros:* Egg shape makes it easy to grip* Lasts for ages (~3months)* Makes your bathroom smell nice* Non-drying (for my skin at least)* The flat indent makes it not roll about* It lathers up well (especialy with a shower puff or loofah)Cons:* When you're over half way through and it is more dome shaped, much harder to grip.* The smell fades on your skin quickly

NOT for your face!
A fine standard soap, like standard soaps it is not good to use on your face. It's far too harsh

Egg-celent soap
The Marine Egg Facial & Body Cleansing Soap has a wonderfully fresh seaside-like scent to it and it really works well to clean my skin. It feels quite moisturising after drying as well, so my skin is protected from drying out.I like the egg shaped design as it's quite easy to grip when it gets wet, which I was surprised about.

Gorgeous Marine Blue Egg Soap
This egg shaped soap is expensive at £9 for 100g from a producer new to us, Coalco....so what makes it special?First the smell - which both my wife and I love. It is classy, fresh, scents of the ocean. It lasts subtly on your skin, and days later we can still smell the scent in the cardboard box the soap arrived in.Second, the look. The soap is the size and shape of a large duck egg in the most gorgeous bright blue sea colour. The bottom of the soap is flat so that it will stay in your soap dish, but the rounded shape makes it easy to hold in your hand and rub onto your body whilst showering.Third, its quality. The soap lathers up very well and its solid shape means it should last for quite a while. You need very little to achieve a good all over wash. We have given up using shower gels as they disappear so quickly and contain too many suspect ingredients.Fourth, its properties. The soap contains shea butter and natural oils which leave you feeling clean but not dry skinned. There are some palm kernel based ingredients but no parabens, sulphates or plasticisersFinally its credentials. Coalco is a Brighton based company formed in 2016 to develop effective soaps and skin products at a reasonable price, using high performance ingredients with low environmental impact. Good to buy local. So it is an expensive soap but we think we are worth it, and will be getting some more for our family as non chocolate Easter gifts! You can buy a range of egg soaps from Coalco in various colours and scents but for us the Marine Egg cannot be bettered.
