Onan generator fuel pump
As good as OEM parts

Give it a try
My Rig is a 2022 Jayco Alante 31v. The generator had 5 hours on it. The original fuel pump failed. I was shaking my head wondering why I’d pay almost $300 for a Cummings replacement when it failed at 5 hrs of use. So, I bought two of these for one sixth the price. Installed the first one without a single issue and it’s fit, form, and function is good as the original. Once my generator hour meter hits 10 hours of use I’ll create another review! Good luck out there!

FAILED LESS THAN ONE HOUR RUN TIME!!
Bought this to replace the 10 year old OEM pump on my 4KW Onan built in generator in my RV. Installation went fine and I ran it to check functionality as I wanted to be certain it would be reliable. Most electrical or electronic parts if they are to fail will do so in the first 10 hrs of usage so I always do a little burn in on these things. I have learned this is best practice after 35 yrs as an Industrial Electronics Tech. Well this only made it one hour before complete failure. The pump is dead...Of course its outside the Amazon return window so I have contacted the seller to see if there is any recourse. Will upgrade review if part is replaced with a unit that works for a reasonable amount of time...I'm assuming I just received a sub standard pump as many seem to be happy with theirs.

did the trick
generator broke we ordered this instead of an Onan part since their part is a couple of hundred and we needed the fuel pump, filter and carburetor we got all 3 parts for a third of the cost of one Onan part. Generator running just fine now

NOT THE QUALITY OF THE ORIGINAL
2000 Jamboree M.H. . ONAN 4000, 1999/2000. Original electrical pump Onan part # 149-2311-02. Now Replaced by Cummins/Onan replacement updated part number # A064S966. Per Cummins/Onan . CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE as of 08/10/22 from Cummins/Onan . These are shown as replaceable by generic pump part # E11007. Genuine A064S966 pumps run $100-$160, if you can locate one. E11007 run $25-$35. My original pump weighs 15.5 oz. Almost a pound. This new Chinese pump only weighs 11oz. It must have far fewer windings on the electro-magnet. PROBLEMS : The mounting bracket , with the two bolt holes. It came miss-located by .500”. 1/2” closer to the hose bib. This put the filter body protruding 1/2” more towards, and out of the wall portal opening. I HAD TO REMOVE THE RUBBER GROMMET because this improper location put the body of the filter up against the side of the oval hole, leaving no room for the rubber. These pumps are incredibly difficult to replace, as they are located in the bowels of the generator chassis. Within a small, narrow area. And I think the Onan engineering design was poorly conceived. If This cheap Chinese pump fails soon, and I am required, once again, to replace it, I will try harder to place the pump outside of the chassis . On an outside wall of the frame, maybe. I believe the original part pump I removed was not replaced since new. Only 200+ hours on the run meter, but 22 years old. It still vibrated, and held pressure. I could still blow thru the filter. UPDATE !!! : I now believe the original pump had not failed. As I was getting no fuel to the carburetor, a failed pump is what I assumed. Now I have discovered that the pump was sucking air. There seems to be an air leak in the supply line. The rubber fuel hose between the steel tubing and the fuel filter was quite weathered, with exterior cracks. So I replaced it. Now I discover that there is a length of the same hose at the far end of this tubing, that connects it to the fitting at the top of the gas tank. ( Located in the center of the tank, of course. ) I believe that this hose has cracked to the point of failure, and is letting air into the line. I can see no possible way to replace this section of fuel hose, without lowering the whole tank from the frame rails !!! To provide access to the fitting and hose clamps. 2000 Ford motor home, 1999 E350, OLD vehicles are trouble. If you are experiancing fuel delivery problems on an old M.H., it may not be your generator fuel pump, but this far, forgotten cheap rubber hose.!!

Going strong after a couple hours use
I took a shot at this knock-off version since the Onan replacement costs as much as a new generator. I saw some reviews that it died after a couple hours use, mine is still going strong after four hours of use or so. moderate weather, no extreme heat. I did also buy about three feet of new fuel hose and relocate it outside the generator carriage with a couple self-tapping screws based off another reviewers recommendation. Good advice as it's very easy to get to now. No complaints so far, and if it fails once a summer it'll still take 8-11 years to equal the same cost as one Onan branded pump.
