The thermometer is quite accurate, wonderful, and not broken. :PYay!

packing for product was done poorly. Twice I received broken thermometers. Two days of work set back costing the business time and money.

First one came broken. Second one came undamaged but with a calibration date of 7 months prior.

Very easy to read and is accurate. I compared it to another calibrated thermometer.

Liquid in glass thermometers only need calibration once in their lifetime

This product was ordered 2x and both times the thermometer arrived broken. The manufacturer plastic sleeve is somewhat flexible and insufficient to protect the glass from bending or being broken from on-end dropping and Amazon's over-box has only some paper wadding. We need to replace this item but will now go to another vendor who specializes in shipping these things. The 2-star was because the (broken) thermometer looked like it would have been perfect for the application at a good price.

The thermometer is nice, and very tall, but will work perfectly for our application. It does come with a NIST certificate but the calibration date was a year ago, in November 2021. It is for this reason I gave it 2 stars rather than a higher rating. If ordering one ask before buying what the calibration date is because I think some have been sitting around awhile.
