Q: How many balls do you need for this? And is it best enough for a 5 year old to use as well?

I purchased 300 balls they covered the bottom stem of the pit. So if you want the it deep is you might want to get more balls. The pit is big enough for my 2 year old grandson and myself to get inside. Of course I Sitting cross-legged and she has room to sit and “we play”. ENJOY

I find this balls pit to be pretty durable. It is ran through all day long and has never come down! It has been set up for about a week now and my 16 months old LOVES the tent. We have had no issues with it what so ever. This ball pool is pop up, no need to assemble, very convenient. Highly recommended!
