Punky Intrabond™ 40 Vol Bleach Kit, Fast Bleaching Action for Brighter Hair

I ordered two. My head is big, and I have a thick texture hair even though it’s short, but not that bald short. I had black brown hair, and I wasn’t paying attention to “what color” it’ll show once it gets “blonde” but it turned the color I have now, and I used a permanent color box to blend my textures out more. I loved how it turned out I wish I bleached it one more time to get the color I really wanted, but it’s okay next time I’ll go for a lighter look after it grows at some more. The texture of my hair afterwards was still holding up, and it was very soft!

i love LOVE this bleach kit, it has everything you need. i was honestly kinda nervous to use a 40 volume bleach kit but this kit is AMAZING. the pic is my hair before i used it and the after pic is after two boxes of the kit and wella colorcharm t19 toner with 20 volume developer. before my hair had a blonde dye and my root were grown in HELLA bad. i was afraid it was going to come out patchy but it’s an all over even color. the serum that you put in the bleach really saved my hair and the hair mask is phenomenal. if you want to bleach your hair this kit is perfect.

Lightens hair super fast with very minimal damage, doesn’t dry out hair at all, my hair actually felt better after lightening it, my hair was dark brown almost black (box dye) and after 45 minutes had a golden yellow which I then toned to a very beautiful sand beige blonde, other lighteners and bleach always leave my hair dry and brittle but have really loved using this one and comes with bond serum additive that goes in the bleach to protect hair and also comes with hair mask for after bleaching that smells really good I would definitely buy again

I’ve been using this bleach every couple of months to maintain my blonde, and overall it works really well—especially on black Asian hair. It lifts better than most drugstore brands I’ve tried, and the tone is surprisingly neutral. Not too orange, and any leftover warmth is easily fixed with purple shampoo. The little serum it comes with is a nice touch. Honestly, I don’t know how much it actually does, but it feels better using it, which counts for something. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is the amount. I always seem to need just a bit more than one box—but not enough to justify opening a second. It’s not a dealbreaker, just mildly annoying. Overall, I’d recommend it if you know what you’re doing. It’s a solid option for lightening dark hair without feeling overly harsh for a 40 volume.

My hair is super fine and porous, so it wasn't unexpected that this took me all the way from dark brown to a pale yellow-blonde. What is surprising is that while things did heat up during processing it didn't bother my sensitive scalp and my hair didn't come away from this process feeling dry and stiff! I was bleaching about 2-3 inches of regrowth, then brought down the bleach to lighten up color lingering in the length of my hair, and even my already processed hair didn't feel any worse than it did when I started. I'm impressed!

Works as intended now i have super bleached hair

I have an asymmetric bob- just barely chin length in front, just about top of my neck in back, sides are shaved and my hair is super fine yet I didn't have enough bleach mixture to cover all my hair. I'm currently in the processing stage, so I don't know how well this will actually lighten, but for the price I expected to have more than enough to adequately cover my hair. ETA: I used this to lighten my hair so I could try a couple pastel colors. I don't remember what color it was when I used this, but it lightened sufficiently for a nice pastel pink, pastel purple and pastel blue. It did not lighten my hair to this white/platinum level- but that wasn't what I expected. I've been dying my hair for a couple decades and for those that want to lighten your hair to let a pretty shade take hold, this will do, but it will leave your hair porous (and a bit damaged) so those pretty colors may need touching up often. Good conditioning, a protein mask and good shampoo for chemically treated hair is crucial. Also maybe a color sealant if you don't change colors often. I don't think this is a good product for people wanting that bleach blonde/platinum look, so please consult a professional if you want to go that route.
