Well worth the investment to prevent a leaking roof on your TV
Tired of paying to have your RV roof seams re-sealed every couple of years? Put this tape over them instead and forget about it! Undetected roof seam leaks are the #1 cause of floor rot. RV owners often don’t see the damage until it’s too late, because the water runs inside the walls. This tape lasts 25 years...it’ll probably outlive your trailer. It’s pliable, so it’ll flex with the vibrations while towing your trailer. Doesn’t dry out and crack like calking. I highly recommend it. Just be careful putting it on, as once it makes contact, it’s not coming off. Best to have 2 people.one to apply it and the other to hold a length of straight, it several feet ahead. Worth the trouble and expense.

Fingers crossed it seals like it's supposed to!
2 weekends ago sealed all edges where rubber roof meets siding on our 28 foot 2016 Keystone Hideout. Our trailer is mostly beige with black trim and accents and I'm very happy we chose 2 inch black tape - it looks great, almost seamless (wish I had taken a pic!). We have had the WORST luck with our trailer since purchasing BRAND NEW two years ago. Seems like every time we take it down the road, the roof separates from where it meets the side of the trailer. Dealership service centers are useless. Found a blog written by a guy who did this sealant tape to his whole trailer and told my husband we were DONE with the Dicor sealant that is messy and hasn't helped our issue.Application suggestion: VERY STICKY! We applied this with my husband on the ladder, moving along, while I was sitting or laying on the trailer roof and unrolling the tape and holding at the perfect angle (hahaha) so he had about 8-12 inches to work with at a time. If you do it this way, you don't have to cut it into strips. We also applied this during the first nice weekend in Washington so it was about 60 degrees. I would say that was perfect weather for application. If it were any warmer, I think the tape would have been a bit more difficult to work with - not as sturdy and the goo on the underside would have been messy. Also, once it's on there is no taking it off! Take your time :)

On me
I try very hard to be a good steward of my money, so I had a roof leak around my skylights. I read the reviews and did some homework on this product along with others. Decided to try this one, so far I have found it to be a very nice product. Well made and very sticky. My only beef is that I did not know at the time they also make this in 4 & 6 inch wide. Had I known that I would have bought the 4 inch wide instead. But that is on me not the product. Since I have put it on it has not rained yet, so I don't know if the leak is fixed yet. However I do have a good feeling that it is. I will do an update in a month or so to let everyone know, and maybe one in a couple of years if I remember for durability.
