Works great
Lost of stuff works, including certain cosmetics, but after elucidation by Donna Schwartz, I'm sticking to Super Slick. There is NO substitute!
My stock BachTB300 slide needs all the lube it can handle. I've been using SUPERSLICK for over 30yrs. I simply won't put anything else on my slide. Those professionals with custom Shires and William's probably do the same, maybe not.

Tried and true.
If you are making the switch from slide oil and are new to using slide cream, you're gonna love it. There's no oily smell, you don't have to use it as often, so you save money, and it provides a much smoother slide action than oils. But definitely, get THIS brand. I've used other creams and trust me, they aren't nearly as effective. You're gonna love Super Slick. Just put a little dab around where each of the seven positions are located, then rub the cream as evenly as you can around the inner tubes. Then with a water bottle, not provided with the cream, give both tubes a few of squirts, and finally move the outer slide in and out a few times. If you play every day, you'll need to give the slide a couple squirts before you start each day, and that should be it. Then you will need to take a soft cloth and gently rub off the old cream every couple of weeks or so and reapply some fresh cream. Very little fuss involved. Enjoy.
