Matched my 4 button remotes via pictures and part numbers. Everything lined up as it was intended. Both remotes work as they should.

My remotes were not working, I had changed batteries and tried several different things with no luck. I called the dealership found out it was 80$ a fob and 55$ for programming. So looked to amazon for the fob's, clicked on these just to find out they had no electronics. However, I read a review were a customer said he had a remote were the trunk button would work but no other buttons. He bought this FOB case and pad, and switched his electronics to this and it worked. So rolled the dice and spent 7.99 and now my FOB works correctly. I did have to cut the knobs on the new case so that the electronics fit in the new case, but it was simple. I will now be ordering another one because I tested my other remote electronics in this one and it to worked. Thanks for saving me $70+ dollars.

So apparently the problem with GM keyfobs of this style is that on the back side of the button there is a metal contact that completes the circuit to unlock/lock your doors, over time this metal contact wears off and your key fob becomes non-functional. The internal electronics are still good, so when the time came to replace the buttons I purchased this set. Build quality was excellent, replacement was smooth. The only complaint that I had about this part was that after only a couple weeks the paint on the buttons began to wear off rather quickly, but that's a lot better than having a non-functional key fob or buying a new one outright from the dealer.

I ordered this to to replace the fob on my old remote that was worn out and wasn't responding when I pushed the button.I received this on time & looked nice. When I went to switch the guts out of my original remote into the new remote I found it didn't sit inside the remote the same but I still was able to snap it closed. After snapping it closed, I noticed my buttons stood up much higher than my original. Don't get me wrong it works great, a little too great.. The buttons stick up so high that I pop my trunk or open a door when it's sitting in my pockets now. Other than that it's a great product..

Bought this to repair the remote for my 2007 Pontiac G6. The number stamped on the back of both my OEM remotes is 15252034, the same P/N as this product. The case looks the same as my OEM 4 button remote. But, inside the cover was a small plastic tab that appeared to be made to help support a battery that was offset, but on mine the battery is centered and the tab prevented closure of the case. I removed the tab with a pair of pliars and everything snapped together then. No rattle or shake, so everything fits tightly. Remote functioning like new now.
