No Expiration Date on Packaging - Waste of Time!
Waste of Time! No Expiration Date on any of the Packaging or the individual batteries. Batteries have been packaged in generic silver plastic packaging and then 2 are placed in a plain small manila envelope. No Expiration Date anywhere. Needed these batteries for smoke alarms located up on ceilings. Why install when have no idea how old they are or How long expect to last?? Searched web and saw postings that expiration dates for 9V lithium batteries are to be found on the packaging.

LoBat!!!
First of all, why are these batteries so expensive? Could it be the bags? I ordered two. They arrived in individual personal sealed bags, in a small bag, in a bigger shipping bag. These were not in the store-ready packaging and appeared to be from a box of many. There was no date on the battery nor location of origin, just a plain clear tailor sealed bag. I used the first one and it immediately resulted in a low battery error (LoBat)--not good! Was wary of the second, but it did not give that error. The vendor immediately sent out new ones upon request and I sent the first and second back. So far, no issues with the new ones, but time will tell how well these will last. I am using them in wireless alarm devices that specifically called for this battery. The alarm company says these should last 5-7 years in their product. We will see, but based on the first battery, I remain skeptical that these could be "cheap cloned" batteries, or old shelf-life batteries purchased in bulk. Either way, I cannot recommend this battery from this vendor at this time. You pay so much for these batteries because want them to work...and work properly for the correct duration. At this point, I am tempted to take the "L" and replace these with another high-quality brand for a piece of mind.
