Adult Team Over-The-Calf Socks, 1-Pair

I ordered some black, calf-length UA socks last year and I loved them. Best non-wool sock I’ve worn. And of course, they’re discontinued. Sigh...So I ordered these, close as I could get, seemed like.Not good. They are too long, they don’t stay up. Wish I could find the original. I don’t recommend these socks.

These socks are terrible. I can’t believe all the 5 star reviews. After the very first wash, these socks deteriorated & there’s already a hole in the toe. The elastic is weak and doesn’t hold shin guards in place for soccer. The Nike dri fit socks are much better quality.

I bought these thinking they were a new version of these  Under Armour Men's UA Soccer Solid Over-The-Calf Socks Large Black , which have minimal cushioning and fit snuggly. I was very disappointed when I received them and discovered that they were Gildan socks (as indicated on back of package) with the Under Armour logo on them. I'm sure they are fine for every day use, but are overpriced for what they are. Not suitable for my intended use (soccer) as they bulky. Will be returning them.

I had been getting 'smart wool' socks, but was always disappointed that the wool was always wearing off inside the sock, stacking up between my toes, or the heels and balls of the foot would wear thin really fast. So I took a risk and tried these.Under Armour Adult Team Over-The-Calf Socks, 1-Pair are very warm, soft, non-iitchy and have not lost their wool yarn! I do machine wash them and dry on delicate with no noticeable shrinkage.One word of WARNING! If you have full calves (16-17") these will be too tight for comfort! Otherwise, they are a great warm sock.

I ordered these socks for mens league softball. They barely went over my calves. I have two other pairs I purchased previously that fit WAY better, they both went to just below my knee. I don't know if I was shipped the wrong size, or if they changed the way they size them but these were way shorter then I expected, and way shorter then the other two pairs I previously purchased.

Very happy with these. I was using hanes over the calf socks, but since they can't be found anymore and what I can find is very thin and poor quality i tried these. They are more supportive and come up to just below my knee, which is what I like with my cowboy boots. I like that I can order by size so that the heel works. I wear a size 8 and these were perfect. Most socks with a heel don't fit properly. These are a little expensive for everyday socks, but I would absolutely recommend them and buy then again. As a matter of fact, I've bought 7 pairs so that I have enough and will likely buy a couple more soon.

Item received was not even close to what was ordered. Only thing correct was the color. Size even incorrect as seen in picture. Love getting Amazon packages but was extremely disappointed this time. Will not be reordering this item.

I like these socks because I wear 8 inch construction boots so I like that the socks go over the calf and they stay over the calf unlike regular socks that constantly fall down then the skin rubs against the boot these socks are a must for working outdoors in the winter.

You do get what you pay for....Must have gone through 3 pairs of cheaper calf socks, these cost a lot more but are far better quality, they stay up for 90mins, are very comfortable and basically well worth the money.

I bought these more for the look.They feel great and when comparing them to other more expensive brands they feel the same.If you want the functionality, the look and the feel without spending a lot of money go for these ones.

The size 8-12 should probably be listed as 9-12. I'm a 5'11 man with size 8.5 feet. The heel of the sock is closer to my achilles and the tops are above my knees. Maybe by 8 they meant 8eee extra wide feet?Otherwise they seem to be decent quality. I'll probably get the smaller size and be happy.
