My pitbull Charles is about 78lbs. He's very territorial and protective of our house. He constantly barks loudly when my neighbors or other strangers walk by. He also completely loses his mind and gets aggressive when anything sounds loud, like when someone knocks at the door or thunder, fireworks, etc. I was very hesitant about getting one of these collars for Charles, but we've tried everything we can think of to help with his constant barking and aggression. Thank goodness, we took the advice of my friend, who is a professional dog trainer, and bought this bark collar.To my surprise, this is AMAZING because it works!! Instructions are easy to understand, and the setup is a piece of cake. The graded regimen of bark correction strategy is humane, safe and effective! The first dog's bark only triggers a warning with beep and vibration, and the collar will only activate if there are subsequent dog barks within 30 seconds of the first. The first day he learned very quickly and it's been pretty quiet since then and never yell at people passing by (We previously used an ultrasonic sound trainer, but she quickly became immune to it). It seems pretty solid and looks reasonably well design and sturdy. The batteries hold a really long charge, and I can recharge it by plugging it into my computer or my cell phone charger.Thank you Loyafish for making me get along well with my neighbors: )

Our 140lb lab/Shephard mix is a barker. And when I say barker, I mean "I'm going to bark at the wind over and over, I'm going to bark at leaves over and over, I'm going to bark at a deer that is far off in the woods and not stop until the whole house is awake", type barker. Other methods of training have failed miserably. And unfortunately when someone wakes up from his barking, it's a positive reinforcement almost because in his mind its like "yay! I barked at the leaves and you woke up to come play!!" :: literally shoot me:: The ONLY reason I ordered this collar was because of the warning beep and warning vibrate BEFORE the static shock. You can test the collar as well by blowing or "barking" into the white microphone dot on the bottom of the back side, by the prongs. My dog is a BIG sissy so it only took 1 time of it actually going off and shocking him to stop it. It has been peace and quiet every night there after. I don't do very well without sleep. So waking up every 1-2 hours because of him barking kept me from ever reaching that third stage of REM sleep. And that made for exhausting days 😢 This product has been a live saver! I HIGHLY HIGHLY suggest it to ANYBODY interested in it!

We returned to work after the lockdown ended, my fur baby showed symptoms of separation to us. She starts to bark and destroy the window curtains after we left. She barks at literally everything. We tried everything to stop her behavior but nothing is works. So I've had her in a bark collar and is helpful. She isn't stressed out by it and we are also less stressed. This collar has helped to curb her barking tremendously every time a delivery vehicle comes by, the people walk by, at surrounding neighbors in our backyard. It's good that I can set to only the sound without the shock being activated. It's so much peaceful around our house now. I highly recommend this collar.

We have been using the collar for a month now and like how easy it is to use and how quickly our dog is learning to keep her barking to a minimum. We like the option for no shock as she has learned quickly and we have turned it to the verbal and vibration warning setting ony. We like that it is water resistant as she has gotten it wet splashing in our pond. We were worried the water connecting the contacts would make it go off but that hasn't happened. She hasn't submerged it yet so not sure if it would keep working if she did. Currently we only have to charge the battery once a week. We remove the collar at night before bed and by morning it is ready to go. It has no remote control so am not sure why the review asks for stars on that section. We have a large property so none of the remote collars would work for us. The only "flaw" we found it that she can't wear her metal name tag and rabies tags as the jingling sets off the collar when she runs.

I bought to use on my dog for the out of control barking. It took him just a week to catch on, he even started whimpering low. Fyu, the louder he barked, the setting changes to a level that is not listed on the instructions. Still works but if you don't want your dog to feel the 3rd setting, I would suggest leaving it on the beeping, which did not work for my dog or the vibrate setting which also didn't work. The 3rd setting worked but went to an extreme level. I'm not currently using it now because I don't really have to anymore. If I show it to him, he sits and stays quit.

The media could not be loaded.  This product worked instantly!!!! In an effort to avoid having the neighbors not so politely asking us to move (anywhere far, far away), we’ve been cycling unsuccessfully through no less than five different collars. This is the first one that stops her nonsense and reminds her to mind her backyard manners. I only put it on her a few times and within a week she's not barking at night anymore. I don't recommend making your pet wear it all day and night just enough to break the bad habit. This was a life saver for sure! Trust me she won’t keep barking now she knows when it beeps she should not bark! I cannot recommend this one enough. Thanks for helping my dog stop barking!

This is my 5th or 6th bark collar from various styles and brands and I have to say this is the top notch of them all! I have a mixed breed sturdy 25 lb. dog who is normally not fazed by a zing or two. Since I would rather not zing at all this has been very effective as the weight of it seems to be more significant than the others it causes my Cooper to chill out and relax just by wearing it! Ive had it for a few weeks now and the battery life is at least a week while on the beep/vibrate mode. Its nice to have the option to zing zap but I have not had to really use that except on the lowest level one time and that was enough.

SO ANNOYED that I cannot get a refund for this product due to timing of purchase. I bought these to train my puppies and waited for nicer weather to start the training sessions. As you can see in the picture, the collar shifted to the side of his neck during training and when he was not barking, kept misfiring. When I went to take it off later in the day, I found this!!!!! The fur had been burnt off and there was scaring in the skin. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT as I followed all the instructions in the box and tested the product prior to using on my dog. I am so relieved that this happened when I was training and I didn't leave it on longer!

This product started out working well. But didn’t continue.Pro- *This product has NOT left any welts or burns on my pup as other brands have*That being said the collar itself turns off on its own and I have to go manually turn it back on. Every 15 minutes or less. It doesn’t shock my dogs in any way, just beeps at them and kinda vibrates. No matter what setting I have it on. My dogs are pretty decently trained to stop with a beep but this collar is completely useless because it turns itself off.

At first, this bark collar worked great. It definitely kept my vocal girl from annoying the neighborhood. But then it started turning off. Now, just several weeks later, we turn it on, put it on her, and it promptly turns itself off. It's 100% useless to me now. A waste of money.
