You need these.
You will never get into piping icing with so little financial inconvenience as this set. I am having a harder time getting my buttercream consistency right than actually using these tips. The bags in this set are useless, just toss them out. There's cheap bulk ones from China on Amazon that are perfect. Watch a few YouTube videos on how to pipe with these, and load them with multiple colors, and you're all set. I mean check out my photos. I've never ever in my life piped buttercream. Let alone with Russian tips. It's so freaking fun.I've washed them, even let them soak overnight and they haven't rusted.

Fair kit, wide variety of paraphernalia, but BAGS ARE SHEETS, not bags, not functional for piping.
A fair starter kit for the price with a wide variety of tips and other necessary paraphernalia. I bought my kit for acrylic painting (attempting the Gaffrey technique) but it mostly appears adequate for its intended purposes--pastry decorating; important caveats below to justify pitiful rating (pastry bags are plastic sheets, not piping bags).Packaging:Item arrived timely and well-packaged (shrink-wrapped and new).Items/Quality:For *most* items in the kit, I received the expected items in the anticipated quality. A mix of plastic and metal tools (with silicon bag ties). Plastic (couplers, scrapers, scissors, pastry pen; scissors are tight at joint and seem likely to break with repeated use; pastry pen may or may not be sufficient to meet individual needs); metal (piping nails, piping tips--including Russian and Korean), tip cleaner brushes; plastics and metal feel fairly sturdy but for scrapers, which are thinner and less flexible than scrapers I'm accustomed to, but I've not yet used them to determine whether they'd snap under pressure with use, and plunger/injector, which has silicone body about its plastic plunger and a tip with a very narrow hole that may need to be drilled wider [I'm not familiar with pastry decoration, so my judgment of the size of the hole should be taken with a grain of salt, but it seems unlikely a frosting, cream, gel, or other filling could satisfactorily expel of that egress point, especially with a soft (squeezable) silicone body and a loading end that cannot be securely closed, which makes me question whether material would simply ooze or burst out the back end; again, I've not used it, so cannot say for certain, but I certainly cannot see getting a gel/jelly through that hole to fill a thumbprint cookie/cake as is depicted in the product detail on the sale page--only something very thin and flowing/fluid would plunge through it, in my opinion.].The piping bags are the worst offender of the kit, for which reason I've awarded only two stars for the starter kit. *They are not bags!* They are single sheets of plastic (which I do not even believe to be suitable plastic for piping bags in the first place, as the material seems likely to burst or tear under pressure--*if* they had seams; I've bought other disposable piping bags, including recently, and none feel like this queer flimsy sheet), pebbled on one side and smooth on the other, cut in triangular shapes and in such a way that two triangles could not even be joined together with pebbled-skin outer and smooth-skin inner surfaces. The sheets have no seam or seal joiner. They even come in a piping bag-like bag (reference pics) that give the impression at cursory glance, these are indeed the item that was ordered. Altogether: *seller/manufacturer did not even try to provision piping bags.* That reeks of consumer fraud to me rather than a mere quality control oversight. For this reason, I cannot in good conscience *commend* this product to anyone. Buyer beware. Although most items in the kit were satisfactory for the price, if they will sell customers one item in insultingly sore, non-functional, and fraudulent condition today, they will do the same with other items tomorrow, and therefore a consumer can never know if they will receive what they paid for.Customer Service: N/A as of 12.06.22Notes: Ordinarily, I would commend such a kit as a starter item for consumers with intention to piecemeal replace items with quality tools as the want/need arises, but just hope to get started.Photo References:01. Photo of the kit as packaged, sans piping bags.02. Detail photo of the kit.03-07. Photos of the cake pen, which may be suitable for a very thin gel, but depending what you hope to use it for might not be a suitable filler, due size of hole (as compared to flower nail tip for reference) and inability to fully close/secure the back end.08-13. Photos of the piping SHEETS, detailing the texture (08, pebbled on one side, smooth on the other) and that they are all cut on the same angle (showcasing the improper cut that prevents them from being joined in a cohesive bag during manufacturing process), ends (proof that they are sheets, not bags; you can also see in photos a single sheet/bag lain out beneath the close-ups) and the BAG the sheets came in, turned down and open (ref photo 12-13.) to compare with the SHEETS sent in lieu of piping bags.

Russian Piping Tips give you Professional results regardless of your skill level❣️
I researched Russian piping tips for days and chose this set because they were high grade stainless steel, had 30 Russian tips, charts illustrating what each tip creates and a plastic case. The piping tips themselves appear to be really good quality.Although, I’m a bit disappointed, the main reason I selected this set is because in the photos by the manufacturer, it shows clearly Black numbered tips with when in fact the tip numbers are engraved and very difficult to read with no coloring for definition. I also like getting a plastic case which turned out to really not be a storage case and arrived broken. Tips are good, expected more.

Fine but not Fancy
As nice as this set looks for the price all the tips are mostly un-usable. They are super small and using them to pipe onto a cake is useless. I love the turn-table and cake scrapers but i probably could have saved my money and just bought tips, a turn table, and cake scrapers. All the other stuff is nice if you use fondant but i dont. I would recomend using your money on something else.

Pretty alright for a diy baker
The cake stand is pretty sturdy, rotates well, and easy to clean. The tips work well too. The couplers can be a bit of a pain to clean, but they do their job. I tried the cake leveler and ended up just using a knife but I also used it on 6 inch cakes instead of the standard 9 inch cakes.
