Buzz Away Extreme Natural Insect Repellent - 4 Oz (Pack of 2)

I used Buzz Away Extreme while teaching a three-week field research course in the Long Island woods in the height of a bad tick season, sharing it with my mother and 2-year-old son who were tagging along. We used the spray on hats, cuffs, and exposed skin before leaving in the morning, and reapplied around lunchtime. By the end of the course, most students and professors had been bitten by ticks, and three had to be treated for Lyme disease. We were three of only five who were not bitten, even though many of the others were using DEET-based insect repellents. We also escaped without any noticeable mosquito bites. Because ours was effective, and a low-toxicity formula, I didn't mind using it regularly, whereas many of those using DEET-based repellents were hesitant to use it more than necessary. I did make sure my son washed his hands just after application. The spray has a strong odor of geraniol, citronella, and mint, but it isn't unpleasant. I plan to keep using it when bug repellant is needed, but I have noticed that it can be hard to find by midsummer, so I plan to stock up.

I have used Buzz Away for several years. It has a wonderful botanical formula that works against mosquitoes, ticks, chiggers, any kind of bugs! And it's safe for people. It's also honey bee safe! I use it when I work with honey bees. HOWEVER, this third party seller etailz has altered the formula. It doesn't work at all, it doesn't smell good, and it even BURNS MY SKIN!When these bottles arrived, I was first surprised that the bottles and lids were covered with a long sticker/piece of white tape. Removing the sticker rips the label. That said, I was still able to read the ingredients. Word for word, and percentage amounts, the label listed the exact same formula as the actual product. This is a scam and a fraud! Anyone who has used Buzz Away before would immediately know, there is no citronella in the etailz version of this product. I think the only thing in the bottle is water and Wintergreen. And something to make it white and sticky. Yuck! And useless! And unsafe if it's burning my skin! Nothing burns my skin! I don't have sensitive skin.This third-party seller is selling a phony product that doesn't work. Who knows what's in it! Do not order from etailz, order from the actual maker of the product, Quantum Health.

Excellent product; we seek DEET-free sprays that work well and are easy to apply. We just apply before our walks in woods and take some along to touch up an area we might have missed.Been using this for several years now and it works great for the entire family.We normally shower after long hikes, so removing the spray is not an issue and we feel much safer using an all natural product.

Works great in keeping away biting bugs while hiking
