LEGOCity 60027 Monster Truck Transporter Toy Building Set

Nice detail on this lego truck. My grandson who is 8 put it together himself with little to no help - and without looking at the directions too much. As opposed to me who has to go step by step. lol He really gets a lot of enjoyment out of lego toys and it's better for him than sitting in front of the tv or playing electronics all day!

Although this is recommended for 5-12 age range, my five year can build this set well.My recommendation is for you to start using small sets first, teach your child to sort the colors first. Then teach them how to read the directions step by step. Lego is a great way to teach organization, and direction following with lots of fun!

can't go wrong with legos so the value is in how many good pieces you get for the price...bought this for my soon to be 5 grandson and he enjoys it while building with parental guidance...good set to graduate from the duplo.

Awesome little set. Bought it for a 4 year old boy. He loves monster trucks and Legos. We built it and he had fun more or less watching me put it together and enjoyed the end result. Looked at the store and they didn't have this one but of course Amazon did and at a better price.

My son loves legos, and I am pleasantly surprises that the lego manuals are easily understood for young kids, although he still needs my guidance at times, I feel that it's our bonding time making the legos together, and he gets a sense of accomplishment when he finished each box. It's never boring!!

Technology is so cool! My nephew lives in North Carolina but we were able to skype this year so we could watch him open his gift. He's 5 and I don't think he really understands all the gift giving of Christmas (his daddy brings him some little something or other every time he leaves the house), but he loves Monster Trucks ans because of Skype we got to watch him open his Monster Truck Transporter. To our delight, he wanted Daddy to get it out of the box immediately so I consider this a score!

Unbelievable. We paid $99 and came tiny box. I would give 0 stars. So disappointed

Bought it for my 4 year old son. He loves it but the parts are too small for him to fix. I fixed everything for him, and had fun myself. The instructions are very clear, and they gave a few spare parts for the tiny pieces.

It wasn't too hard to make. It looks really cool once it is finished. A couple of the sections don't stay on some of the time. The moving parts are cool and work well. The back trailer is long so it carries the monster truck well. The front looks really cool even without the back trailer. The ramp is great. It's a good thing there are extra pieces of the small pieces. Our 6 year old likes the way it looks.
