Will this rip paint off of a wall? I want to mount strip lights.

I think it will. I mounted using 3M Adhesion Promoter (4298).

Will this stick to latex wall paint?

I have not tried it on the walls, but it works to re-attach my truck's molding to the metal truck door. If you use this on the wall, it may not come off - this is heavy duty mounting tape!

Can i use this to attach a 7 lb monitor to a vesa stand? my portable monitor does not have any slots on the back so i can't use a vesa stand directly.

I doubt it. This is the same adhesive strip that comes on a strip of LED Lights that go under kitchen cabinets. It’s only 1/4 inch wide and its make of foam rubber. I used it to replace that adhesive when I moved a strip of lights, which weigh next to nothing. They make this in wider rolls which may give you the strength you need.

Will this bond to MDF?

I don't know. I've only use it to bond metal to metal objects. I bonded 1" brackets on Solar Panels to roof of camper trailer. They're secure at 65 mph and have been on two years and about 15,000 miles of travel. Good luck.

This is not your typical double sided tape. It's more like the super version! Seriously, an extremely strong bond is formed! There are a couple things to be aware of though: It is not "scotch tape" thin. It is a little thicker, not an issue for most uses - but do not expect paper thin. It may stick too good. That sounds kind of like an oxymoron...tape that bonds too well - but if you think you may want to use this as a temporary solution, get something else. Seriously, only put this on something that you want to say put! Hands down the best double sided tape I've ever used.
