MARMOTWomen's Montreaux Full-Length Down Puffer Coat

Warm & Toasty!
Bought this coat for a trip to northern climate. Little did I know that we would have a polar vortex at home the following week. Thankful for this coat. Very warm, great insulation ... Zipper works from top or bottom, so when fully zipped, I can unzip the bottom slightly to allow for easier movement. Hood is oversized, allowing you to were a hat underneath. Fur trim does it's job, but don't expect it to look like the real thing, it's a bit thinner than I would have designed myself, but that's a personal preference, not a performance inhibiter. Overall, very satisfied.

Order up. but this coat is a keeper!!!!
I love the coat, but it ran VERY small. I even researched the size guide at Marmot prior to ordering and ordered accordingly. I normally wear a med-large in most coats. I up-sized to an XL, but it was very tight across the shoulders, and would not have allowed room for layering anything under, as in a heavy sweater, or fleece, so I reordered in an XXL. I've never worn an XXL in my life, but it worked. In spite of the sizing issues, I am still giving it a 5 star review because it is attractive, well-made, has the detachable hood, and is exactly what I wanted. I've returned 2 coats from other high-end famous retailers this season because I was disappointed in the quality, which seems to have gone downhill. This coat is a keeper!!!!

Not bad, but not for me.
This coat is pretty nice, but was slightly tight over my hips and would have been too large at the shoulders if I sized up (I have big hips and small shoulders). If I had absolutely loved it, I could have managed with the slightly tight hips, but it didn't feel all that heavy duty. The outer fabric feels lightweight, and I'd rather something sturdier. It is a fairly nice coat for the price, though.

Basically a sleeping bag you wear!
Ok - plusses - it's waterproof, super freakin warm and the fleece lined pockets are so money. Minus - the zipper is a bratty baby to get started and it's a little snug - so def. upsize on this one. The hood is also a nice feature, but it comes down so low on my face that I have zero peripheral vision. I got hit with a lot of snowballs this winter b/c of this hood. Despite the few downfalls, I am very pleased with this coat. It keeps me very warm and dry!

Fabulous
It's exceedingly warm and comfortable while still being lightweight and convenient. I found it expensive but very well worth it when I received it. I'm very pleased with this purchase

Very warm, nice, good quality jacket, runs small.
Good quality, warm, very light, comfortable. My height is 5.7, I would like this jacket to go below the knee.My weight is 153 pounds, usually a size L, but this large was tight on shoulders I changed it to size xl. The jacket looks baggy on the chest and back. I think I'll return it.

Warm & worth the price!
Great quality, warm, & hits at the perfect length! I'm 5'8" and the coat hits a few inches above my knees. The outer material isn't super thick & has snagged on a few things, creating little tears, but they're easy enough to patch with adhesive tent vinyl repair patches (just trim into little squares). Perfect for the cold North Dakota winter.

Great jacket, annoying zipper
This jacket is a great length, looks nice, and keeps you very warm. The only complaint I have is the quality of the zipper. It's very difficult to get started, even when just trying to put it on a hanger.

Warm, cosy, long coat
I am quite tall, 5ft 9in and find it difficult to get coats that are long enough . This is just above my knees. It is well made, the top has a cosy lining and the pockets and lined and keep hands warm. The coat has some shape and is not too bulky, unlike many other down coats. I live by the sea where is is always windy and this has kept me warm this winter. A good coat.

Lovely warm, lightweight coat
Love how lightweight it feels, and lovely soft shell. Just found it a bit tight on upper arms and chest.
