The fabric is too slick for wrapping up a baby.
Babies need to be wrapped up tight and this material is super slick. I don't imagine it will work well as the baby is moved or is moving around. I thought it would be flannel or cotton like most baby blankets. I am very disappointed. I guess I should have paid closer attention to the product description.

Better than expected
My two week old wore it for pictures. He’s just under 7lbs and the fit is ok. A bit loose but still looks great.
