Walker Edison Maui Modern Solid Acacia Wood Slatted Patio Dining Table, 78 Inch, Dark Brown

I admit that it is inconvenient to teak oil this stuff every Spring, but I do think it's worth the effort. We've had a lot of family gatherings on our back patio now that we have nice furniture back there.

Took awhile to assemble. After the teak oil application, the richness of the wood was enhanced. With the extra leaf incorporated into the table, extending the table is very simple.

The table is very sturdy. It’s really pretty. The leaf insert is a nice option and hides inside the middle section when not in use. It took us just under 2 hours using a power drill with an allen wrench type bit attachment. The pre-drilled holes aligned well. We didn’t have any issues. We used the provided allen keys to tighten the bolts but otherwise, used the drill. There are a bunch of parts and I recommend that two people do the assembly.It’s a lovely walnut color. It has a strong varnish odor so it’s sitting outside on the patio. We’ll be using it inside in the dining area once the odor subsides. I don’t think that’ll take very long in the hot South Texas sun! This is a bargain! I’ve looked at tables for a while. This is by far the best value.I’m giving the ease of assembly 3 stars simply because I don’t think assembling this table with the provided allen key is practical or reasonable. It really takes 2 people and a drill.I’m happy with my purchase!Update 06/24/21: the table has been outside exactly 2 weeks and the smell of varnish has completely dissipated in the hot Texas sun. It’s coming inside today. The finish is also improved tremendously. It was slightly tacky right out of the box but is satin smooth now. Love It!!!!!Update 12/12/2023: Additional info. The hole for the umbrella is only available with the leaf inserted. The table seats 4 comfortably without the leaf since the ends are flush with the supports when the leaf is not in use. It will seat 8 comfortably with the leaf inserted. We use the table indoors so no idea how it would hold up outside.This table doesn’t fold once it’s assembled. It expands easily and one person can do it without help. It also is just narrow enough to fit through a standard sliding glass door without having to tip it over when transporting it from the dining room to the patio.Once assembled, it’s very sturdy with no wobble after 3 years of daily use.

This table is a great purchase and superseded my expectations. Great purchase. Everyone is amazed when I tel them I got it on Amazon. Highly recommend!Pros- Value for the money, looks so nice, color match is perfect, leaf mechanism is easy and works perfect, sturdy, very wheelchair friendly when the leaves are out (easy to roll right under the ends).Cons- no umbrella hole when the table is set to the small size, assembly was more time than I expected (wasn’t difficult, just a lot of steps)
