Beautiful quality paint.
It took me a bit to work this stuff... but once I did it was fantastic... had a old front door that had been spray painted by previous owner in a horrible colour... and was pealing off... so I did the front door with this and the patina activator. People love it... it's not perfect... as it was my first project... but I would recommend trying it out first on a primed piece of box cardboard first... get the look you want down... and go from there.

Great stuff, beautiful results
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Wanted a trough for a water feature at the bottom of my rain chain and I wanted it to be copper. The copper alone would have been $400 while steel was $50 and that was cut. I used this product to get the copper I wanted without the expense. It was easy and looks wonderful, the patina spray even worked nicely on my copper rain chain. Probably didn't need this big bottle even doing two coats on both sides, but now I have extra for other projects.

Metalic Paint Colored My Project's Success
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I'm an artist tasked with creating a large installation fabricated from oxidized steel. I decided I would experiment with reactive metal coatings. I had to push the boundaries of the medium with the goal of creating a color palette that met my esthetic objectives on this project. If you experiment with patina solutions, you can coax a range of colors. This was my first time with reactive paint. It was amazing. Smooth application, excellent coverage in one coat on a primed surface, and a tough finish. It contains actual copper, or bronze particles. Its an acrylic medium that made for easy cleanup. I also purchased the brand's rust activator and patinas which I highly recommend. I apply the paint with sea sponges and cloths, rubbing the paint, burnishing it onto the sheet of cut steel. The fast drying characteristic of the paint is an advantage. My rubbing and burnishing application technique using copper or bronze paints, makes the finish look like solid copper or bronze. I'm nearly finished with my installation, and I'm thrilled with the results.

great stuff!
used with the patina, you can create a beautiful bright orange rust color on most types of surfaces. I've used this stuff for years, and have put it on many different things, including a plywood coffee table "box" that we made, then put this stuff on it, and topped it with a glass top...looks like a huge block of rusted iron! this stuff is so cool!

Good product for Oxidations!
I purchased this product with the intent to make art canvases with this as my base. I did not purchase any other recommended products. I primed my canvases with 2 coats of artist gesso (craft store) and applied 3 coats of the copper oxidation paint. When adding my own corrosive agents on top it took a few days and re applications needed (only the corrosive agents not the copper paint) and I got the effect I wanted. Ty!!!
