Oceanair Marine SKYSHADE Cabinshade Blind

The cloth is white. The colors available refers to the hardware only. I bought size 3 in white, and it was a very bright white, so I returned and purchased the silver, to better match my other shades that are 25 years old, and original to my Beneteau. The video shows a complete black out, and I was very impressed. Note that there is a partial closed method also, which I didn't install.

Keeps the sun from coming in the overhead hatches

I literally had to get three of these shipped to me just to get one good one. Two of which came in open boxes missing some of the parts and mounting hardware, then my third shipment was not in an open box but the shade was inoperable as it did not close all the way. So I took the blind from my second shipment and the hardware from the 3rd and now I am good. A ridiculous amount of purchasing and returning just to get one blind. I do like the working blind that I have now, it looks good but definitely overpriced.

The shade is wonderful, but I cannot hang without hardware. It came without screws to hang and the clip to hold the shade down when pulled and the instruction manual. The box appeared to have been open. (not the UPS box, but the oceanair box rather) Hoping to hear back from this company that they will send me the parts needed. I'll repost and update.

Nice and compact - Ocianair sits close to fibreglass cabinhead and doesn't take headroom. Great!

These work as advertised. Used as replacement of the accordion style, theseare much better. Reduces cabin heat, and offers nearly full blackout of sunlight. Easy to install. Work great. Others mention the terrible packaging and They are right. The box these come in is just horrible design work. I’ve bought 9 of these and all are “open” when they arrive. Newer ones have different packaging for screws to avoid problems mentioned here. The screws the provide are not great. I bought 1.25” SS flat heads at Home Depot, they worked much better. Heads didn’t strip out.

Not Ocean Air but Dometic shade was sent. Wrong item and when we wanted to install it it did not fit and it was to late to send back
