It worked when we first started using then broke a month later

Product is leaking propane and is not as good as I thought it would be for that much money. The crucible was cracked. The lid very loose. It is like it was hand made but just not very well. Tangs are very loose as well. Gloves had two small holes.

The media could not be loaded. I'm an amateur at best when it comes to casting, but this foundry works like a pro. The thick insulation holds heat for a really long time, and this thing gets crazy hot if you let it run for long enough. I only use it for casting aluminum, usually lost PLA, and I really can't complain at all about it. The ONLY thing I could think of that some people would complain about is that it heats a little slower than other foundries I have used. I find this a positive though, as the slow heating results in much less of a chance of cracking your crucible.The best thing about this product though has got to be the customer service. I had a question about how to set up the foundry, and ToAuto was super helpful.TLDR; Great medium size foundry, fantastic customer service. A little slow to heat, but that's a good thing.

The gloves are trash and the tongs are not the best. You could get this same setup for less money....however, if you get this one it will work just fine. We have done a few "small" batches since purchase and it works. It melts aluminum just fine. The tongs make it a little hard to pour and the crucible itself does not have a "pour spout" but it heats fine and heats thoroughly. It does seem to use a lot of propane and is a bit of a pain in the ass to figure out how to use the first time (our box did not come with instructions) but we got through it and I don't regret the purchase.

The media could not be loaded. The 12kg Toauto furnace is a great begginers furnace. It comes with almost everything you need, it is only minis metal and a face shield. This little bugger surprised me with its performance, melting copper in just 1 hour of runtime, and melting 1lb 6oz in 1 hour and 20 minutes. I was impressed. The torch this furnace comes with is a venturi style burner, and it is the perfect match for this furnace. I know that some people have said that the melt time for copper or bronze is really long, or it won’t melt at all. The reason behind this is the inexperiance of operating a furnace. Operating a funace is something you need to learn. I had to play around with this guy a little and I have been doing this kind of stuff for seven years. So have faith and play around with it, it works. There are a couple of modifications that I will do to this furnace and I will update this review when I do. Another thing I would like to say is the people at Toauto are great, very nice, helpful, and understanding. Altogether I like this furnace and I like the company. Good luck, and CHEERS!

Poorly packaged, huge mess inside the box. Box came shipped upside down. Foundry does not get hot enough, and uses a lot of fuel and still doesn't get hot enough to melt an copper and aluminum consitentantly through out the large crucible. Only works for small melts.Hinge on the top is ultra flimsy and pulls on the side wall warping the top after use and will not sit flat on the top. Paint is completely burning off the sides and top after several uses. I paid 600 for this?The regulator does not have a pressure value so you can only guess what psi it's actually running at. I am a blacksmith you professionally uses propane forges for my soul living. This whole system needs work. It's over all cheaply done and not worth the price paid. I would never recommend this to anyone.

I am requesting a replacement to see if it is better. I didn't even assemble it or test it. Review pics to see why. Rusted, paint chipped (not that it really matters) and the hinge for the lid is about to fall off. The shipping box was in perfect condition. I feel for the cost, you can do better.

When i got the package, the outer box looked slightly mangled, but not out of the ordinary for a large package. The inner box was worse. One corner of metal staples was completely undone. It was packed with decent squares of foam, which i lifted to find tge bottom of the forge. So put the foam back, flipped the whole thing over and under that piece of foam, there was a powdery substance all over. I lifted the lid to take out the crucible and it looks like the clay lining was destroyed. Quick inspection, and it doesnt seem like anything else was broken, but is it supposed to be this messy? I haven't used it yet, but I'll update the review, better or worse.

J’ai fait fondre 20 lbs de cop hier pour la premierre fois ca pris 1 h avant être chaud les autres batch ont pris 10 min vu que c’était deja chaud je la recommande a tlm et en 3 h ca a pris a peut près 3-4 littre de propane!! Économe!!

Emballage endommagé, creuset cassé mal emballé et de la rouille. Le couvercle n’avait pas de vis compris. Lorsque installer la température ne monte pas même apres deux bonbonnes de propane neuves. Tres déçu de cette article je me fais rembourser.

Great customer service and good melting furnace. Craftsmanship could be a bit better but all around its a pretty good furnace 👍

Had an issue with a hose. They are sending a new one

I got my package an there were parts missing an the padding in the lid came out also there was no screws for lid but most of all I set it all up an put full propane tank on it an never melted four pop cans
