Beautiful story of two boys
Taichi Sagawa is a young and energetic boy living with grandfather and trying to find part times jobs to support his grandfather. Due to his loose temper, he gets into arguments and fights, he isn't able to get any suitable job.Kohei Sugihara is studying law. He has issues in hearing and gradually loosing his capacity to hear. He is looking for a volunteer to take notes from the classes for him. Both the boys meet each other based on this and agrees on the compensation of lunch in exchange of the notes. Both the boys gradually interact and get to know about eachother's life.Taichi helps Kohei to overcome his insecurities due to his disability and he even gains faith in himself that he doesn't have to restrict himself from living like he used to in past.Taichi is a simple and sober guy who wanted affection and appreciation being someone's aid and being with Kohei, he was able to achieve it.Over all its a beautiful book about two boys growing gradually and learning about affection that they have for eachother. I loved it ❤️ and will definitely recommend it.

This is one of my fav series
Like I said, relationships are complicated and sometimes it’s just hard to communicate your own feelings, fears and insecurities. Sometimes you just want to share your life with someone but it might not be as simple as that. And for someone whose always been hard on themselves, is not easy to understand that other people's feelings are their own responsability. We cannot assume to know what’s best for them. This story was touching and respectful of hearing-impaired people but also it has reminded me that communication is the key to any kind of relationship. Our love for others can make us blind and so, we don’t see we can hurt the ones we love the most with our selfishness. Yet, at the same time, it reminded me that life is simple: you stick around those who feel like family, who make you feel wanted and loved, and you try to protect them, to give them hope, to make sure they will make the best of their lives.Raising a child, taking care of others, talking to friends, learning new ways to express or even just sharing a few jokes –those simply things is what makes us human. Sure, we can make a lot of mistakes along the way but everything is temporary, even the bad moments. And we do need others in order to have some sense of security, so I think this volume put everything together and gave us a nice ending.I cried my heart out from the beginning so I might not make much sense now but I just wanted you to know that I whole-heartedly recommend this story. It gave me so much and I'll never forget it.

A sweet, sometimes challenging love.
Taichi and Kohei's love grew and unfolded into a deep and sweet affection. And, importantly, I learned more about those who have hearing challenges and how we can be supportive and enabling. I especially liked Taichi's reflections at the disabilities seminar. He expressed so well that it is not about fitting into the hearing-enabled world, but rather enabling those with disabilities to live seamlessly in all aspects of their lives. We're far away yet from achieving that, but these books helped me realize that there is more I can do. Just being more aware is a step forward!I recommend this story!
