All of nothing
The book does not live up to expectations at all. As the tell all tale of one of the most famous and revered IAF officers, the book falls way short of it. Two big areas of concern1. The authors rambles on about the geopolitics too much with his own views, taking more than half the pages. This is unnecessary to the subject and a put-off. Some of the authors own comments are not very bright either.2. The main body one expects is a details of the career of the officer. Here, the book is short on details. Dates are approximations, squadron numbers missing, light touch to the unit life and so on. It is difficult to even make a pen picture out of it.Further the print quality is miserable. Multiple pages in the book I purchased are printed on top of each other. Finally, this title is deficient grammatically. It ends up meaning the wrong cavalier which changes the meaning totally and actually is derogatory.A big opportunity lost since the officer is no more now.

But for this book we would not have learnt about this outstanding personality and war hero. A must read for all Indians. The author has done a commendable job.
