Pretty blush with terrible packaging
I had been using the original L'Oreal True Match line (liquid foundation, concealer, blush, and powder) on an almost daily basis for several years. Over the past few years, I was considering switching to a mineral makeup line but I was worried about finding the right shades and whether it would last as long. Price was an issue, as well. I finally took the plunge and have been pleasantly surprised. The True Match(original) shade that I was formerly using was Baby Blossom (C1-2). I am now using the True Match Mineral blush in Soft Rose. The two are comparable but not exact. I really liked the blush from the original line (Baby Blossom). It matched my skin tone perfectly to give me a soft pink glow around the cheeks with just a bit of shimmer. (I also used a bit on my forehead, bridge of nose, and chin to give myself a slightly sun-kissed look.) This color (Soft Rose) is a little deeper and has no shimmer to it, so I only use it on the apples of my cheeks. It looks very natural and a little goes a long way. I have received several compliments on my complexion. I have been using this almost daily for over four months and have only used about 1/4 of the product.I have found that this mineral powder makeup does not hold up quite as well to my oily skin. I work eight to ten hours per day and by the time I get home, most of my makeup has worn off. I can live with it, since I'd rather not take the time to reapply. These containers do not lend themselves to travel, which is another downside. The containers are absolutely ridiculous! Having the brush in the lid is very inconvenient and makes them rather bulky. The brushes are not even good or practical to use. There are crevices on the inside of the lid where the makeup can get stuck and since the brush is on the lid, (if that were the only brush you used), you would never be able to get it out! I use my own brush (Real Techniques Blush Brush) and pour/shake a bit of the makeup out into a wider, flat lid that I saved from a moisturizer jar. That allows me to swirl and tap my brush, something you can't really do if you use the brush they give you. It's just too big for the opening of the container. I can't believe they haven't changed the container design after all these years.Anyway, I do like the makeup. I can't say that I like it as well as the original True Match line but I feel better about putting the mineral makeup on my face, so I can live with the differences. I still fall back on the original makeup whenever I have special events but this stuff is great for my day to day looks.

L'Oreal Paris Mineral Blush
I bought this mineral blush when L'Oreal first came out with it, this and their mineral foundation...I love the ease of use and the coverage of each of them. I am fair skinned with a bit of roseaca and I like to have some decent coverage that is NOT heavy. THIS is that product! I will never stop using this for as long as they make it. I would suggest this product to any age, if you wear makeup and you want to try a good mineral cosmetic, THIS is really a quality product and at a great price too!
