Must have item. I recently found a bug dead and latched onto one of my favorite sweaters in my closet and I went nuts. I started washing all my clothes that were hanging in my closet, fearing that there could be more. I decided to buy these cedar chips and hang them around in my closet. They fit well over my plastic hangers and as a month went by, I have not seen those nasty bugs. This also works to keep away silverfish bugs. These are pretty cheap and are a must have for all closets

I love how cute they are and how is easy it is to hang them up or throw them in a drawer or shelf. I just use a bit of sandpaper to freshen them up and they are good to go. The smell wonderful and opening up my closet door has never been more pleasant. Even more importantly, I haven't seen a carpet beetle in a long time. Yay!

Good for hiding in pet beds. Fleas are really bad this year and a lot of the topical treatments are not helping too much. I had read that cedar is a way to deter fleas. I have hidden these inside the dog/cat beds and they seem to be helping

They didn’t take care of the moth problem. I got clothes moth tramps & they captured the moths.

I put this in place as a just in case maneuver to protect against vermin and insects. It smells great! I love opening my closets to smell fresh cedar. When it fades, use a little sandpaper to bring the smell back.

I was surprised that these have absolutely no cedar scent at all. However, they are easy to use, can be tucked just about anywhere, and with a hole drilled in them they can slide over the hanger.

Good. Very strong cedar smell. No lavender smell. They're a little rougher around the edges than the ones in the picture, but not splintery. I put them all in my drawers. I got these instead of cedar balls for my drawers because they seem to have more surface area and can lay flat under clothes.Also, for people who are disappointed the ones they got didn't have a smell: I don't think cedar has to smell to do its job. At my mom's house I have a chest of drawers that must be cedar because my old clothes never smell bad or get moths no matter how many years they're in there. The chest of drawers doesn't smell at all.I'll update this if my shirts continue to get musty after a while in my particle board Ikea dresser.

I opened the bag, no scent, I thought maybe the scent would appear after being out in the air for awhile. Yea, quite awhile later, still no scent

Happy with purchase, great size, doesn't touch or bother clothes-when put on hanger, therefore no stains on clothes, even put them around the house, is big enough that cats wont touch/eat/play with them (compared to the little round cedar balls). Purchased back in May2013. Never noticed the "Lavender scent" which is great, since I don't like Lavender but wanted to try this product and glad I did!! Probably will be ordering more :)

Smelled Lovely upon opening package, gone in less than a day.Lovely design but didn't do what it was purchased for (scent).
