I have type 2c thick hair. It gets super frizzy with no or inadequate hair products. After reading the reviews I figured I'd give this a try since the price is very reasonable. There's usually a learning curve to new products as far as figuring out the right amount and of course weather comes into play. It took me a month to figure out the amount. At first I was putting too much and my hair was weighed down, lacking body and it felt yucky but never stiff or crunchy. I had to add a vinegar rinse into my routine to tackle the build up. Not enough and my hair was a frizzy mess. My process is to shampoo 2xs a week, vinegar rinse 1x a week, always condition rinsing hair upside down and applying product in shower right after, then wrapping hair in a t shirt for about 30 min before I diffuse. I've learned to like this product but my issue is that it doesn't create any shine in my hair. It smells great, keeps the frizz away, the curls defined, and soft, but no shine at all. I'm happy I didn't have to throw this away as I've had to do with others but I probably will try other products before purchasing this again. I think 4 stars is pretty good. If it gave me shine I'd give it 5.

I have been using this product for over a year and was happy when I found it here to purchase when the store is out of stock. 80% of the time I wear my hair in a wash and go. Once I apply my moisturizer I finish off with the foam. It sets the hair so that it does not get frizzy and my curls are defined. With the slickness of the product I get to run my fingers though my hair to detangle and elongate before my hair sets. I then use gel on edges of hair. This product does not cause curds when combined with my moisturizer or gel. This is a great plus because other setting products left my hair with flakes and curds. It does not stiffen or dry out my hair and my curls are free to bounce loose or pin up in a style. Product washes out easily.

The product works, but the instructions are not accurate. I followed the instructions and my hair became hard and crunchy dry. So I washed it out and reapplied the other products, then it worked.

It is light yet moisturizing my natural hair, not a curl pooping for my 4C hair.

Unfortunately this item had leaked through the box. I was surprised when I opened the obviously wet box to find the side of one of the bottles was dented in and the other bottle was wet at the bottom. I used the leaking bottom one and found the product was just what ivanted. It kept my curls pretty and tight but the packaging was poor.

Great product but it takes a long time to dry. The smell is a bit weird and it does not work well with other products especially gels when it’s wet. Your hair will look like you have a ton of conditioner in it until it dries completely so it’s definitely something that you apply on a day when you have time to wait for it to air dry. I didn’t like the results when blow drying but I think it might have looked as good as it did when I air dried if I used a cool setting. Shrinkage was normal and it’s doesn’t leave your hair feeling crispy but the definition won’t last if you neglect to wear a bonnet at night and it’s not the type of product that you can simply wet to revive your curls and go.

When I saw the reviews, I was really excited. Now looking at them again, I should have known this would work much better on coils then waves (even though it specifies it works on all types). My hair is long and extremely wavy/frizzy if I use no products. I was hoping this product would either make my wavy hair more curly or at least define what waves I do have and make it less frizzy.Instead, it made my hair really soft for about 30 minutes, then it started it feel like all the hair was chunked together (not sure how to explain this). I basically could no longer run my fingers through it, at all. That however, I could live with, if it wasn't for the fact it just didn't do what the product claimed it would do. It was supposed to define my waves and minimize frizz, but instead it left my hair was still pretty frizzy, but now glued together and flat.I really wanted it to work (especially since the smell is AMAZING), but I guess this is geared toward costumers who are looking to elongate their coils, rather than costumers looking to actually make their hair curlier.The only good things I found was the smell, how soft it makes your hair, and the fact no matter how much of this stuff I put on my hair, it never looked greasy. It has pretty good hold too (as I mentioned, I can't run my fingers through my hair with this stuff), so I might use it if I run out of hairspray.I'll update if I ever manage to get this to work. Until then, not so happy about it.

Used it twice so far and got great results the curls felt revived and bouncy. The pudding smells of mango mixed with passion fruit which I loved but was afraid it would smell bad once applied to hair and mixed with other product. Smells lovely when applied to wet hair; bad and off putting when applied to dry hair. The delivery was very fast, arrived on the same day I ordered the product.

I use this on my wash and go and I love it. A little goes a long way. I apply it while still in the shower as the steam opens up the cuticles and my hair can really absorb it.By itself it creates a nice curly but I finger coil my hair for some extra bounce.

I wanted a mousse for hair that had no alcohol in it and this product is just that. Its easy to pump and mix into your hair and it do not get sticky and you do not have the hard dryness from the alcohol. And no itchy head or flakes . Smells great as well. Thank you .

I have very wavy / curly hair (only since I went grey - it was dead straight before!) and have tried loads of different 'natural' hair products. They are either too sticky, too stiff or make my hair go fluffy but this is the best thing I have ever tried. I applied liberally as directed on the can and panicked the first time I used it as it seemed to be way too much product but when my hair was dry, the effect was lovely. Highly recommended. I have just ordered the Ultra defining curl pudding as it is recommended to mix the two for best results. I can't wait to try it.
