It does not work like one would think from only using normal mouse products so it take some getting used to. It does work great once I learned how to use it. Still learning how and when it is best to use this and when to go back to the regular mouse.

Low Quality product. The buttons location and the behaviour of the mouse are not intuitive. The pen might move while you click, so you end-up clicking on the wrong item. I would recommend the Genius Pen Mouse instead, it is 10 times better than this one. The PenClic mouse is also a good alternative, but the Genius Pen Mouse is the best in my opinion. I have bought and compared all 3 and used them for the last 2 months to try them out.

This thing is great. There is a little bit of a learning process but once you get used to it it becomes very natural and comfortable. It is very fun to use and you can use it on just about anything. It is also very accurate, I use it frequently with architectural software as well as photoshop and illustrator. The pen tip has flat edges which I use to make a rolling motion instead of sliding when extreme accuracy is needed. This technique makes this devise much more accurate and responsive to micro movements than a traditional optical mouse. My only complaint is that I would like it to have a bit more weight and to be more sturdy. Perhaps if they used metal instead of flimsy plastic it would solve the problem. I still gave it 5 stars because at only just above $10 it is well worth it. The battery life is also surprisingly good considering it only uses a single AAA.

I love the idea of a pen-style mouse and this mouse works good, with a couple of little irritations. The right click button is too high on the mouse, so it is awkward to press since you have to use the side of your thumb. It would be better located down about an inch so the thumb ca press it more easily. The left click button is a bit stiff, so it makes it difficult to double click on things. It would also be nice if there was a place in the mouse to store the usb communicator for storage when it is not inserted in a computer.One other thing I noticed is that the mouse does not slide easily out of the holder... so any time I go to pick it up, the holder sticks to it and I have to hold it down to pull the mouse out.I will continue to use this mouse since I like the style and how easily it stores in my briefcase... but I look forward to future additions that have the bugs worked out.
