I purchased three of these fans. The light stopped working on one and when I eventually attempted to see why, the small piece that connects a wire inside the globe was no longer glued on. The shade was broken during my examination. Spent time looking on Amazon for service to purchase a new light kit and globe.And I somehow got the worst English speaker on the Amazon force, though he clearly told me to google the company and try to find parts that way. So I found the phone number for Carro on the pamphlet that came with the fan, and I've called all day to only get a recording. Fan shouldn't have stopped working. It was rarely used.I had called and called the Carro company and they saw my number and called me back! And the gentleman said that he's sending out a new light board and globe, free of charge! I do like companies that try to please consumers!

The media could not be loaded. The fan only weighs 15lbs, but requires an in-ceiling electrical box rated for 50lbs. This is so when the fan is on it doesn't 'swing' -- is quiet and doesn't scrape or make other noises. We were installing the fan where previously there was only a small light so we had to swap out the box. This was by far the most troublesome part of the install. The actual fan install was pretty easy.We've had the fan installed for a couple of weeks. The app works great, so does the remote. I had to get used to not flipping the switch because while that will turn the light on and off, the fan stays off if we use the switch.I saw on a few reviews (not sure if it was on Amazon or elsewhere) that people couldn't turn the light off - which is super weird because both the remote and app have a button with a light bulb to turn the light on and off. There is a slider to adjust the brightness of the light, using the slider will only take the light down to 10% and maybe that's confusing to people, but there is an on/off button that seems fairly obvious to me and works just swell.I like how you can adjust the brightness & tone of the light plus, it's a much prettier fan than most you see for sale.

Pretty. Light is good but only the light works from the wall switch. Cannot pair remote so it's literally impossible to turn the actual fan on. So it's a pretty, over priced light. Not a fan.Can't get support. I've hired and paid two electricians to get this fan to with but they can't figure it out. It's weird right and is a lovely light but we ordered it as a Fan with a light. Not a light only with zero fan function.Very frustrating.I guess my option is to buy a whole new fan and eat the cost of this one as it's past my return window.

The fan is amazing! Blows fast and cool air. Was easy to install and looks beautiful. Downside, the remote won’t pair with the tan so we can only control it on the app. It would be great and 5 stars if the remote actually paired to the fan.

Super bright! Some of the fans that look similar to this in stores aren't nearly as bright. The max lumens they advertise is probably accurate I was skeptical at first. The mechanical installation was simple no problem there. The biggest issue is pairing the remote and smart features. It took alot of patience to get the remote paired. I ended up holding the remote directly next to the fan and rotated around while going through the pair procedure. It somehow worked! Maybe it's a signal issue while pairing. I recommend hardwiring the fan and replacing the switch with a blank. Ive had it for a couple months now without a single issue. Google home works flawlessly but only can control on/off of the fan no speed/brightness. I wanted smart features and something to fit a Scandinavian style decor for under $200 and this fit the bill.

Reviewing the product after using it for ~2 years. We got 4 fans and it looks good, its light is good and air is also good. We live in California, so we use it lightly.Bad - the remote is really bad, the fan does not work from it for 3 of the fans. The wifi connection is just okay. For one of the fans the wifi stopped working and we are not sure how to connect it, even after trying everything.Purchase this for its look.

Easy to install, connects with Alexa, very happy with it.Quiet motor, and provides great lighting. Would purchase again. Here are the key points.- Alexa recognizes mine as three devices (ceiling fan, white light, yellow light)- physical install was the same as any other ceiling fan- Alexa connection took longer to setup, and was finiky during the process. Setup requires downloading an app, connecting to wifi, connecting to fan, opening Alexa, learning a skill, and connecting the fan to Alexa.- Alexa can change fan speeds, reverse directions, dim the lights, and of course turn everything on and off- fan is quiet thanks to the D.C. motor, which provides several fan speed choices-has a remote control if you don't want to use Alexa

The features I like BEST about this fan are: - Useful easily understandable APP, allowing "set-it-and-forget it" schedule - Flawless pairing of REMOTE just WORKs, even tho we have 3 of these in the house. They don't interfere with each other - Ease of use. Keep the REMOTE or the APP handy, and change fan speed (or direction), light color or brightness anytime you like. Next time schedule takes over, tho, to turn it OFF or ON, it resumes to settings you left in the SCHEDULE. Handy that scheduled ON/OFF overrides my messing. - Easy to update schedule, so if you decide to ALTER features or times or settings, just update the schedule, SAVE, and it takes overAll in all, this is just an all-time GREAT fan and a medium-level price.We have SEVERAL of these running, and even with multiple fans, their remotes do not interfere with each other. That's nifty.
