Simply Sashiko

This was exactly what I needed to get me started on Japanese Sashiko embroidery . Excellent general instructions, hints and encouragements with clear photographs illustrating each point, followed by 36 patterns ranging from the simple to the highly complex, each with a full size template, easily transferred onto fabric with carbon paper, as well as helpful instructions for successful sewing. Highly recommended if you are looking for the basics.

Another embroidery book which I will add to my collection. The book simply explains how to embroider the Japanese way i.e. Sashiko. A good book with loads of ideas.
