I received this eyeliner specifically to write a review. That said, I try to be honest and open in all my reviews.(Please see the enclosed picture.)This is a great product for the price. The fine tip makes putting the product on easy and precise.The liquid is a vibrant color that goes on well and stays on. While some eye liners dry out or flake after a while, this one stays put.The cap stays firmly on, though there was a tiny bit of product leaked on the inside when I first opened it. But, the liner itself works excellently.So far, I’m very pleased with this product!

I like how deeply pigmented that the liner ink is in this pen, as well as the excellent liner tip. The tip is tapered so finely that it’s easy to get a very thin line with minimal pressure and a light touch. Applying more pressure while gliding the tip along the skin provides a non-skipping, fuller and thicker line. The ink dries quickly, which is another thing I appreciate about this eyeliner.The tip has just enough give without being too soft, nor is it too firm. The liner ink glides out smoothly and is impressive. While it didn’t immediately run when allowing water to splash over the skin that had the lines on it, some did eventually come off with water only when I repeatedly rubbed over the water-wetted area with my finger.I like how easy this is to use, the high quality tip and the deep, black pigmentation, as well as how tightly the lid fits on the pen when I’m done with it. The quality of this eyeliner pen is very good and I’m happy with it’s performance. Thanks for reading.

The Carter Beauty Steadfast Liquid Liner Pen in Jet Black writes very well and makes a very strong jet-black line. It's easy to use. It works great when my wife used an eyeliner waterproof coating to make her eyeliner waterproof. When she skipped the eyeliner coating, the eyeliner started sloughing off into her eyes, stinging her eyes, and five minutes later, it was almost all gone. So much for the "Steadfast" part of the description. She had to remove her makeup and start over. If you don't usually have problems with eyeliners running, then this product may be okay for you. If you have problems with eyeliner running, then you may want to avoid this Carter Beauty product unless you plan to use it with a waterproof coating first.The outer barrel of the pen is somewhat rough, and it attracts makeup. The tip gets messy easily (see attached photo).

Being that masks have returned yet again, I am now mostly just wearing eye makeup during the week. When I saw this liquid liner available from Carter Beauty, I requested it and here we are. This review is for: Carter Beauty Steadfast Liquid Liner Pen - Jet Black, 0.01 oz.I have tried Carter Beauty products in the past and liked most of the, so I thought I had a good shot at liking this liquid eyeliner, and I do! It goes on super easy and the tip is fine, so it's simple to get the lines you're looking for. The only issue I had with this is it taking a few minutes to dry. Try not to blink much,, or look up or down because this will transfer to your brow or underneath your eye. Once it's dry, it's long lasting and takes me through the entire day. Recommended!

When it comes to drugstore eyeliner pens, my go to is the NYX Epic Ink Liner. I was curious to see how this one held up to it.This is actually a really great eyeliner pen. It is pigmented and long lasting. I decided to do a workout test, and this liner did not smudge one bit after 45 mins of cycling!The only reason I did not give this eyeliner a 5/5 is because the tip is a bit stubby for my liking. I wish it were a little more refined for a sharper eyeliner look. This is no issue if you go back with some makeup remover and an angled Q tip though.Overall, this is a really great eyeliner pen for the price! I will repurchase in the future!
