This is your basic coaxial cable connectors or a female to female type connector. Need to join an installed cable line to a television just a few feet away. Worked like a charm and now I have a few others in case we have the same situation occur elsewhere

Perfect for MoCA Setup—Flawless Performance and Great Price!
I purchased this VCE 3 GHz Coax Cable Connector 5-pack a few months ago because I needed to extend several coaxial lines running into specific rooms in my house. My ultimate goal was setting up a MoCA (Multimedia over Coaxial Alliance) network to get fast, wired internet over my existing coax lines. The previous connectors I had in the house were constantly giving me issues and dropping connections. While MoCA technically operates on frequencies above 1675MHz, a lot of standard, older coax extenders can't cleanly handle the higher frequency loads and end up bottlenecking your speeds or cutting out. Knowing that these VCE connectors are rated up to a 3 GHz frequency gave me the peace of mind that they could handle a modern MoCA system with absolutely no interference. The Results: Performance: They work fantastically. The connection is rock-solid, and my MoCA network has been running at full speed without a single drop. Reliability: I installed them right after they arrived at the end of January. It is now late May, and after nearly 4 months of continuous, daily use, they are holding up beautifully. Value: At around $6 for a 5-pack, these are incredibly inexpensive. You're paying just over a dollar per connector for high-spec, reliable hardware. If you are looking to extend your coaxial cables—especially if you are trying to run a high-speed MoCA network through your home—do not hesitate to get these. They do exactly what they claim to do, they are high quality, and they are a total bargain. Highly recommended!

3GHz worth the premium
I'm setting up a DECA network (MoCA but slower, might end up switching to MoCA in the end actually). I did a test between one of these and an old clear coax barrel (1GHz) that was just lying around by transferring files over LAN. To my surprise, the clear one averaged around 8 MB/s and the blue one (this one) averaged around 8.5 MB/s. Why the increase? I don't know, less signal degradation, whatever, but for a permanent installation it is worth the money over the ultra cheapo ones.
