I am shocked that this only had one review. I have never been able to keep my plants alive (except on outside drip system). We moved into new house and I swore never to use fake plants again (had them all over old house and was tired of them). I had a really nice pot that came with a stand and I looked up watering systems for indoor plants and came across this one. It is WONDERFUL! My plant is thriving and I have grown about 8 new leaves so far. Pretty cool to watch over time. I read the one and only review that said to make sure you water plant before you use it so I did. Then I just stuck the bottom in as close to the roots as I could without destroying it. It was really right up by the side of the roots. I fill it up and wow. It works well. I check on the water level to make sure it is filled and when it gets low I just fill it up the glass part in a couple of seconds and put it back in the bottom part. So easy...my husband even acknowledged that it worked. I think he was impressed.

Very nice....a huge improvement in looks over the wine bottle. They are pretty pricey so if you've got a lot of pots using these could get quite expensive. Just started using so I'll have to wait on reviewing the long term benefit of using these.

These are great, particularly for people like me who are casual about plant care, but really love plants. It's easy to see when these need refilling, so I no longer stress out the plants by forgetting to water them. I like the green--haven't found a reason to "decorate" my plants with color.

These are really pretty but not sure they save me any time or watering. Perhaps it is just too hot in CA this time of year-gonna keep giving this concept a try. The shipper and packaging was great. I was worried about them being glass and ceramic. I ordered about 15 of these in various sizes. Not a single one was damaged.I use these for my outdoor potted plants. I may recommend these higher for indoor use.

Work well. Need to be filled quite frequently for my particular plants and location, so not a longer-term vacation solution (but I just replace the bulbs with plastic bottles when away).

Of the several simelar systems that I have fried over the past few years this is the easiest to fill and use, and IMO the best.

This has been great for me. It's kept a very thirsty ivy alive inside (it's outside in the summer with a drip line). The glass is pretty, and I only have to fill it up twice a week.

This product does the trick. For plants that need a constant but measured level of moisture, this watering globe makes the task of keeping them happy so much easier. The plant takes what it needs as it needs it -- no flood or drought to shock the roots. I would only add that this works best if the plant has been given a good drink first -- the soil should be uniformly moist (not drenched). It also is extremely helpful when on vacation to ensure sensitive plants stay healthy. I've relied on these globes to keep treasured plants hydrated on vacations that lasted almost two weeks.
