Ease of assembly
Easy to install. Wish the blade looked like it was sharp. I don’t know if it comes to me pre sharpened or if I need to send it out to have it sharpened. I installed it anyways and seems to work fine.

Good quality
The blade was good quality but the rake tines didn't do much.

works great
I moved into a new house last year and the land scaping wasn't the best. The sod they used was dead and had a lot of thatch that needed to be cleaned up so the grass could come back. Instead of getting a thatch machine, i got this for the lawn mower. I worked great! and for about a third of the cost for a thatch machine.

Does not work with Toro 22" walk-behind
Listed as de-thatcher blade. Does not work with Toro 22" walk behind mover. The blade is 'designed' to fit most (or a lot of of mowers). The various parts that allow attachment to the Toro create a sloppy connection which failed. The bolt holding a blade onto the shaft of the motor has 1" of threads that allow a fair amount of torque to hold the blade on. The various parts needed to attach the Arnold blade to a Toro uses up 1/2" of thread length: this is half of the Toto design length! (side comment: And I did not install the fat (1/8"!) washer as per the instructions , which would reduce the thread length to 3/8"!. I torqued up the bolt as much as I thought possible without stripping the threads. The de-thatching process imposes a much greater load than simply cutting grass and occasionally it can stall the motor. All of a sudden I heard an unexpected noise, stopped the motor, tipped the mower and photographed the attached photos. The blade failed and did damage to part of Toro's blade attachment part! My conclusion is that Arnold, some kind of division of MTD, tried to make a blade to fit almost all mowers and did not do enough engineering and manufacturing to get it to work right. Your results may differ. The de-thatching does bend and wear down the 'fingers.' I did not set the mower very low since I wanted to test the system and see what height would be best. I started a little high and lowered the mower twice to start de-thatching not scalping. I thought that there was some promise before the whole thing failed.I want a refund for this and the spool of replacement thread which I have not yet received and is now useless. And maybe the cost of the Toro part that got mangled!6/25/2020I am getting a refund. That is fine, but no mention about the damage done to the Toro part holding the blade. I may be able to fix that - not a super critical part unless the damage includes misalignment of the vertical motor shaft with the horizontal blade holder. That part is $18.89 from Toro w/ no shipping and no labor and not today.

Meh! Blade works, tines don’t
Nice blade as replacement for your lawn mower. The tines do nothing except fly off the first time you use this. It does not take or magically help you pick up leaves beyond what every mower would.

Simplest and Most Cost Efficient!!
It’s been three years now since I turned in my thatching rake for this gem.I don’t even store it all year. For the price, I get a new one each spring that sharp with an extra set of fingers, and this does a better job than a thatching take ever did!! And the best part is that it’s easy and quick to install and I can do in half a day what would take me a week to do by hand!!

Great results for the price!
We installed this on our Toro Personal Pace mower. My husband found it very easy to do. It performed well once I figured out which depth I needed for my lawn. I needed to do two passes in order to feel like it did a complete job.. but this was the first time thatching in 9 years.

Amazon had this thatching blade while the big name hardware stores didn't!
I had used this thatching blade for several years to remove dead grass from my lawn and it works great. No need for a power rake every few years. The local big name hardware stores no longer carry this thatching blade and replacement tines. I was glad to see Amazon had these items and at a lower price than I paid 5 years ago at the hardware store.

I had to return the blade since it did not ...
I had to return the blade since it did not fit on my Toro mover. Quality of the blade appeared solid and return was without problem.

Blade seems fine, tines do nothing
I have another Arnold brand blade, so I bought this pretty much only for the power rake / de-thatching tines. The blade itself seems to be pretty decent, but the tines do nothing. In order to get the blade low enough for the tines to reach down far enough to be effective, the blade basically scalps the lawn over any uneven spot, and my lawn is fairly straight and level. If you are in need of a new blade, this should be ok and the tines might be a barely-useful bones, but if you expect it to work to power rake your yard look elsewhere.
