Cafe AlturaWhole Bean Organic Coffee, Regular Roast (Packaging May Vary)

We love the rich smooth flavor of this coffee! We have made over 24 purchases and regret we can’t buy the 5lb bags anymore in French roast! This coffee has no acid and tastes amazing!

We had been buying another decaf espresso from Amazon for quite a while, and decided to give this brand a try. It's even better than our previous favorite. Excellent flavor, not harsh, but nice and strong nutty flavor.Also, the beans are not oily like the prior brand, and therefore don't stick as much in our fully automatic Philips coffee maker.

This is flavorful organic coffee. A little on the bitter side though. We only drink organic coffee. The chemicals used on the coffee beans is not the best for long term health. Hopefully, certified organic coffee truly is organic (no chemicals). This coffee is nice and flavorful and the best bang for the buck organic coffee.

Will buy this again, delicious

Bought it for my husband who is a coffee fanatic. He brews coffee every day and only buys organic whole bean stuff. He liked this one but wouldn't pay extra for it.

It's OK but not great. Doesn't really have any flavor notes to describe. The beans were dry and reddish brown looking so I'm guessing they're old. I won't be buying it again.

What I love, the flavor. What I don’t care for is the changing prices. So I’m going back to the other brand which doesn’t change prices with the change of the wind

We have been avid supporters of Altura for years and years. In fact, I cannot recall when we purchased different beans. Unfortunately we have been forced to say goodbye to Altura beginning April ‘23. Why? Previously Altura charged about $35.00 for this 5lb bag of beans. They decided, without any notice and just over the course of 25 days to increase their prices by 75%+. To Altura, it is one thing to increase your prices due to infation a few percentage points here and there, but this is just plain and simple price gouging? You have no rationale on your website to explain this unbelievable price jump. So much so that we are actually divorcing our family’s favorite coffee brand. We are truly sad, but unfortunately we vote with our dollars and our vote no longer resides with Altura. Perhaps their leadership team could do some triage and provide some sort of reason/rationale for the pricing issues. Anyway, there are plenty of other organic coffee vendors who seem to be able to manage their businesses better and we will be sampling some new products over the coming months that are more in line with sanity. We wish the folks at Altura all the best, and invite them to maybe sit down for a moment and re-consider their methods.
