I love Mrs. Stewart’s Liquid Bluing. I use it to whiten sheets and revive old towels, and it has saved me so much money because I have not had to replace linens that were starting to look dull or dingy. This brought them right back to life. The key is to use it correctly. I do not pour it directly onto fabric. I dilute it in water first, then add it to the wash or rinse water so it distributes evenly. A little goes a long way, so I start small and follow the bottle directions rather than overdoing it. When used properly, it makes whites look brighter and fresher without the harshness of bleach. This has become one of my favorite laundry products. It is affordable, effective, and perfect for sheets, towels, and older linens that need a refresh. I am very happy with the results and will keep buying it.

新品のTシャツと比べると気持ち黄ばんだかな？というくらいの白のTシャツに使用してみました。 洗濯機で普通に洗濯し、2回目のすすぎの注水後の満水に投入しそのまますすぎ→脱水まで普通に洗濯機を回せばOKです。 原液の量は水量62L(うちの縦型洗濯機のMAX)に対して10滴ほど。注意点は、原液が衣類に直接かかると青く染まるおそれがあるのでコップの水に原液を溶かしてから洗濯槽(満水)に入れました。コップの水が真っ青になるくらいです。 結果は、確かに白さがよみがえったようです。少なくとも黄ばみは分からなくなりましたので効果ありだと思いますが、まだ一度の使用なので継続して効果をみてみます。 最初は原液を少なめに使用して様子をみながら必要なら増やしていけばよいと思います。原液がなかなか減らないので長く使えると思います。
