I bought this specifically for pumpkins my kids and I were carving. This worked well for it's purpose, but there were a few downsides1. Battery life for me only last a couple days2. One of the light wouldn't open, and pretty much broke when I forced it to open3. Would have loved a timer functionHowever, the seller was quick to just resend me another one, so it wasn't much of an issue. As for the battery issue, the packaging indicates it's only meant for events and battery only last around 6 hours. I didn't realize this when I bought it, but that was my fault rather than the product.I think if people use this the way it's meant for, short live events, then it's a decent to good. For my purpose, it worked ok, but leaves something to be desired.

I bought these for indoor Halloween decor, and they worked perfect!! Party went for approx 7-8 hours and they were lit the entire time. Not sure why you get 4 remotes because one worked for all.I do not know how they will work in water and not sure I will use them for that, but nice to know IF I need to I can.

Really like the color change remote. Lights are used for display not under water. However only 2 of 4 unscrewed. I tried everything including my battery operated lid opener.

The media could not be loaded.  These submersible lights are working great for me and my project. I am a camper and I used these to make light up buckets. I know sounds weird but they are great. I used a 5 gallon white bucket and added black adhesive vinyl to it with a funny saying usually something to do with camping. These buckets are great at night once you put the led light inside it makes the whole bucket glow. I have mine near the edge of my site so my friends can see it and know what site is mine. These lights are waterproof, I have seen other campers fill their bucket with ice and use it like a cooler. They leave the submersible light in the bottom so it lights up the bucket and the ice and it looks cool. There are a ton of cool uses for these lights. They come with magnets in the back and suction cups. I love that there are 4 lights and 4 remotes. That way when I sell the bucket I can include a remote with each one. These are a nice big size also. They require AAA batteries, from my past experience rechargeable batteries worked best for me.

Bought these for our pool. These are actually really nice and very bright and there's at least 15 different color modes. Only down side is that they take 3aaa batteries each. Really solid construction though. Haven't tried them in the pool yet but Im sure the battery compartment will stay sealed shut. My set of 4 came with 4 remotes which is funny for just 4 lights lol but still nice to get. Definitely gonna buy some more.***September 6 2021*** Trash. These didn't last a week. Took them out of the pool Everytime we finished using them and they still rusted up and the batteries don't last more than 5 hours- that's why they send you so many. Glad I didn't buy anymore. Definitely not great for pool, water use.

Lights look nice and work well. I don’t understand why each individual light has a remote of its own. One remote in my opinion should be all you need.

So they’re definitely bright, and are fun. But after only 2 uses, some of the LEDS are dead. They also go back to random flashing colors within 5 minutes of play, if you slightly bump them ( like diving pucks In the pool) they won’t stay a constant color. The kids don’t like that at all, it’s annoying. Battery life is terrible, and you MUST take the batteries out after play because for some reason they kill all the batteries even if turned OFF. So very costly on batteries. Plus the batteries don’t fit well at all, so they probably shift around in there causing the lights to go back to flashing due to voltage drops. They also leak, water gets in no matter how careful and tight the o-rings are. Fun for a few parties, but they will not last long. I’ll look for better ones next time.

Trying to return they aren't working like others I'd gotten...they're great for a bit then just stop. :(
