This horse does stand and that's great. It's a cute set and well made.

In this set you get Ansley and Arabel. Ansley is dressed for riding on her horse, Arabel. All the items are well-made. They are ready to be played with right out of the box. I like that the box is made from recycled materials and can be recycled. The doll is cute with her riding outfit including hat. She has beautiful hair that can be brushed and styled. Arabel has a beautiful mane and tail. Children can braid the horse’s mane and tail (add ribbons too). I wish the clothes were prettier. She is wearing dull colors (gray). It does take time to get the doll and horse out of the box thanks to the way they are fastened (have your scissors ready). I picked this up as a gift for my niece (for Christmas this year) to go with other Lori doll items I have obtained. I know she will enjoy it. I like that there are other items you can purchase to go with Ansley and Arabel. These are quality items that will provide hours of fun for children.

One of my dear friends has a young daughter that sometimes tags along with her to my house, and I like to have fun things for her to play with. They are a pro-horse, anti-Barbie family, so I thought this little set would be a good fit. It's a fun poseable doll set - these Lori dolls are about the size of a "Skipper" doll (do they even still make those?) with the childlike body shape of a Kelly doll - yet without the gross proportions and impractical wardrobe of an actual Barbie. And the quality is surprisingly good! The faces are beautiful and detailed, and the horses are every girl's dream. I love that they're modeled after actual horse breeds and aren't just generic, and that the various dolls in the various sets have a variety of eye, hair, and skin colors.I'd say the doll clothes are where the set falls short - they feel cheap and aren't super cute. Still, though, for a 4-year-old, it'll be perfect.The set isn't overpackaged, and the horse and doll were easy to remove from the packaging. Doesn't look high budget from the box, but the quality of the actual pieces is great.

In the last couple of months my daughter has become obsessed with Lori dolls. We have gotten her the car and horse trailer but she was needing a horse to go in the trailer (you can't have a horse trailer without a horse!). We got her this set as a part of her Birthday present and she absolutely loves it. I love the size of the Lori dolls. They aren't giant like American Girl dolls so they don't take up as much space. They are also super easy to bring along on trips or to friends houses.In this set you get Ansley & Arabel. They are both so cute and look very realistic. The clothes are super cute and the doll comes with a fun little hat.One thing that I do wish is that she would sit a little better on the horse. She does sit on the horse, but she doesn't stay on the horse super well.

I just really love the Lori collection. I have yet to be disappointed with the quality and presentation of their products. My daughter is in love with dolls and horses so what could be more perfect than a set like this. The horse is just adorable and has a nice beautiful mane that can be brushed and comes with all the details, saddle, reigns, (no stirrups) and the doll is rider ready. We have the little trailer to go along with the set which is sold separately. We love having these and have a second lori doll with horse so that friends can go riding together! Lovely set, would make a great gift idea.

The box and package arrived damaged; however the child still enjoyed it.

A lot smaller than I thought. It isn’t for a my life doll like I thought it was due to the picture. It’s just a small horse and a small rider; which my daughter still loves but I was a little disappointed
