The media could not be loaded.  The build quality is excellent, the cable feels premium and has a solid connection to the base unit. The cable is a decent length so doesn't need to be right next to an outlet.Using it was a doddle, it connected to the meross app with ease and there's a whole range of controls within the app, including the ability to switch off the use of the hardware buttons which is a great addition in case you have any other, smaller family members, that might sneak into the baby's room and want to mess with buttons and such within reach. I think a little more granularity of the volume control within the app might be more helpful, as balancing it with the noise threshold for the baby monitor is a bit tricky :)In the box you will find the unit itself, a USB-C cable (which can always be swapped out for a longer one but may go against manufacturer's recommendations), the USB plug, a user manual and something about apple homekit which I do not use.The range of sounds is excellent, and as you can hear in my video the sound quality is top. Really a lot better than I expected. The nightlight can go pretty bright in case you need to find any dropped dummies or find out what you just smashed your foot on, and the lighting effects are pretty cool.Overall, a really nice product we will get a lot of use from. Even after baby doesn't need it any more I think it will come in with us !

Bought for £33 in Aug 21. Liked that you could control it with the mobile app, after 2 months, got an email to say it was talking to their server too much which could be a sign that the device has been hacked so they cut me off. You can still use the buttons on the device itself but it's fiddly at night with the baby and you have less options compared with the app. The sound quality is poor and the sound clips are very short loops so if you hear where a clip starts, very quickly you recognise the loop and because it's so frequent it can drive you mad. The lighting however is spot on, granular control over colour and brightness is brilliant.

The media could not be loaded.  I have a few Meross devices and so far I have been very happy with them. I am fairly new to HomeKit automation and I find Meross very reasonably priced.I’ve been wanting a night light in my boys room for some time so this seemed ideal.Out of the box the light seemed good quality. It came with a charger and USB-C cable. The charger and cable do stick out quite a bit (7.5cm) which to be fair is my only grumble.Set up was very easy. I use Apple HomeKit so it was a case of just scanning the code and following the instructions.What you can do in HomeKit is pretty basic. Mainly turning the lamp on or off, changing colours and dimming. You can do this either by Siri or in the app.To control the sound you need the Meross app which again was easy to set up.When you open up the Cherub section you get a lovely screen which reflects the lamp type.From there you can control not only the lights, which has a lot more combinations than the HomeKit app, but also the sounds.There are a range of calming sounds which can be played along with customised lighting.You can also use the controls on the lamp itself which centres round a wheel that adjusts the brightness.Overall I am really impressed with the Cherub Baby Machine. A great combination of quality and value for money.

I own and use many smart devices and this has to of been one of the simplest and easiest ones I have ever set up.It made it so easy with the fact that I already had the Meross App installed as I use a couple of devices from Meross already.I love how nice and easy it was to understand the controls on top of the Cherub Baby Machine from Meross.the layout is nice and simple and I love how the top on / off button is also the brightness control for the light.I use Alexa on both my Tablets and Echo device, this was again the easiest thing I have even had to set up on the App as it even found the unit all by its self and I really didn’t have to do much once I had opened the Alexa App I just edited the name of the unit and that was it.The voice controls using the Alexa echo’s are very basic so you will need to use either the Alexa App or the Meross App to set how you want the music / sounds, unless you just use the controls on top of the unitI love how bright the light is and how many colours and white / warm white choices there are.I have Tinnitus and find that the Cherub Baby Machine from Meross helps me sleep as I can use the white noise or one of the nature sounds to help drown out the ringing in my ear.Only thing I would say it could do with, is maybe a way to download into the App your own music or recordings of the parents singing as this would really help after talking my partner who would have found it great to be able to do that when their children were baby’s.The unit is it's self is very well made and is a good size with great illumination from the bright light at 100-90 %.I keep mine at about 50 – 60% and can see fine in my bedroom.I’ve included pictures of the Meross App and how it looks on the Alexa App.All in all a great little unit, well made and a good addition to a smart home.
