Great dress to wear for a play set in the 1800s. The fabric is thin & a slip needs to be worn underneath.

This dress is adorable. It fit perfectly. The waist was a little larger than mine but the sash could tighten it. Having some adjustment in the waist is important when singing. The main material does not wrinkle, but the white does a bit. I it washed up beautifully. I was impressed st how well made it is given that it is a costume at a reasonable price. I was given an option to have my troupe pay for it and turn it in after the show or to keep it, and I decided to keep it because I like it so much.

I bought this dress as a Halloween costume. I was disappointed at the length. If I had known I probably would’ve made a different choice. (My solution was to purchase fabric and attach it)

Order size up. Really cute. Can't wait to wear for colonial event. Will have to iron.

The first star was earned because it has a faded look to the navy that makes it look authentic for the period. Two additional stars were given because of the style, which was simple with a flared look on the sleeves, the length fit my 10-year-old who is 5ft 1" and it hit her approximately 2 inches above her ankle. However, the sleeves were too tight, to the point that it was uncomfortable. I purchased a medium size hoping it would be a bit looser, but it was just as tight. I would say the fit is true to size because she wears adult medium in most clothes, she's a 32B and the bust area was modest and had room in it, the waist fit at her natural waist. Her major complaint was the sleeves and when she moved her arms it was uncomfortable.

I bought this to wear for a play, and I absolutely loved it! It wears comfortably and comes to a good length. I was very happy with the fit.

This colonial dress was not made for today’s titties. The quality was great and the design was very flattering, however we had to take the zipper out the back and put in a corset top because it fit perfect everywhere except the chest area. I guess back then no one had fake CCs. Lol.
