This item is well made. I just wish it was a bit bigger. I love alpaca, but it seems like all alpaca garments run small. I think perhaps it is the case that countries producing the most alpaca products have a different notion of size than the U.S. I am 6 feet tall and I really wish this covered more of my arms.Maybe someone will create the alpaca big and tall store :).

I bought this for my 17-year old son because he had been asking for a poncho, and HE LOVES IT! He is about 6 feet tall, and it comes down to almost his knees in the front. The side/arm does not come down to the wrists -- but it's a poncho, and they are not supposed to be long in the arm area. It is light weight, yet warm. I hesitated and did a lot of research because of the cost. It is unique, and a hard-to-find item in any store. One thing we particularly liked is the motif woven into the front/bottom is an alpaca. ME GUSTO!

Very warm & I like the hood. The strings for the hood are too short and mostly worthless. I had forgotten that a very loose fitting garment will blow uncontrolably in the wind. Since it is so long it gets in the way if you want to do anything out in the wind.

The alpaca rustic poncho is well crafted with attention to detail. The quality of the alpaca wool yarns and colors utilized in the crafting of this item are authentic & good quality. I carefully inspected my poncho when I received it. The workmanship is flawless. I am very pleased with this item. NO regrets, here!! A wise purchase on my part. Would definitely buy this item again.

The Gamboa Hooded Alpaca Poncho did not underestimate itself. It is a fine quality made product that I would purchase again, and again. It is absolutely stunning, and amazing to wear. I cannot say enough positive things about this product. I was also very impressed at how fast it shipped and arrived at my home. I just couldn't believe it got here almost overnight. It looks much better in person than it does in print. I plan on purchasing more for myself, and for gift giving.

I gave this to my 18 year old son for Christmas last year, and it was his favorite gift!It is a beautiful, warm, cozy Poncho made with very high quality Alpaca wool.He brought it with him when he went away to college in the Pacific Northwest, and reports it is perfectfor the weather, AND he gets compliments whenever he wears it.

This poncho is like being wrapped in a cloud. Its so soft but weighted enough for comfort and warmth. There is no comparison to those itchy ponchos.It would make a beautiful gift.

Good quality wool and very well made. I wanted to get my husband a poncho and had no idea where to go! I sure am glad I have Amazon. Read the reviews and looked at all the choices. Made our choice and 2 days later we got it! Hubby likes wearing it and it looks good on him! He likes the " Clint Eastwood " look lol. He said it does a good job keeping him warm also. Probably because the wool is so nicely made. It has a nice weave to it. And the hood helps too. Thanks Amazon!

I bought this product as a gift for my brother in law, he is a quadriplegic and spends a lot of time in his wheelchair.Unfortunately he is in bed and has not been able to try the poncho, there may be a problem with his wheelchair when he wears the poncho. Time will tell. We do like the product, it is well made. Buying same was a pleasure and so easy on line.Thank you for the great service.
