Die Bilder sind mit dickeren und dünneren Konturen gezeichnet , so ,dass man hier ineinander vermalen kann. Nicht für Wasserfarben geeignet, da das Papier dünn ist. Mit Filzstiften habe ich es noch nicht probiert.

Wow, what a beautiful coloring book! Not to mention the price which is currently only $5.99 (regular $9.99) and one of the best things of all, it was made in the USA. And although there is a color guide on the inside cover, if you prefer a more individual look you can choose your own or just switch a color out here and there to your liking. There's also a brief "Introduction" as well as "Tips And Techniques" offered to try and aid you in obtaining the best possible outcome in your endeavors. The pages themselves come on white stock, moderately thick, one sided, and also perforated for easy removal. The lines are a medium gray color and the numbers are VERY faint and small so you may need your glasses if you use them. Some of the details are tiny and intricate too so while you could use markers, I think colored pencils or crayons would be a much better choice. The finished illustrations are all very vivid and stunning with lots of reds, greens, and other bright colors. This collection includes dozens of beautiful landscapes with bridges, houses, barns, waterways, flowers, trees, fruits, pumpkins, birds, canoes, animals, wells, pumps, wagons, etc... Just lots and lots of variety so I'm sure there's something for everyone. All you need is this book, the corresponding colors located on the inside cover (or your own) and your imagination =)

Whilst appreciating that the numbers must be in light ink so they don't show through the colouring in, I think the numbers could be larger and more easily read.
