Prenatal Education System

When I was pregnant with my son, My husband read about this device in 1 of the many parenting books he was reading. At $180, it seems a little pricey for something that we can't prove works, but we wanted to give it a try. The reviews seem great too which was reassuring.Now my son is 8 months old and his development is quite advanced for his age, being able to stand and starting to take baby steps too. He also seemed to be able to self-soothe after he was born, although the 4-month sleep regression took that away briefly, but now he is sleeping slightly better again. Again, we don't know if his advanced development was due to BabyPlus, but we will take it.I recently got pregnant again so we bought another one because our friend borrowed ours. Will try to remember to report back when the new baby is born.5 stars overall because it seems to work. But...the battery setup is terrible. It takes 4 AA batteries but it's super difficult to put in and take out the batteries from the device. It doesn't help that we have to replace the batteries every 3-4 weeks. I hope the vendor redesigns the battery compartments to make it easier to replace the batteries.

Our baby is 2 months old now, is in the 99th percentile for growth, is super alert and doing great. No ear damage or signs of any issues related to the use of this product. It is obviously hard to say whether this product caused the good things or the fact that we also did storytime, played games, did all kinds of prenatal education and surrounded our baby with love and care.This product is a little too pricey but I'd buy it again, and I would recommend it to others. It certainly didn't hurt, and its a great cornerstone habit for doing all kinds of fun things with your baby before he/she is born.

Compra el babyplus hace unos 3 años, cuando mi mujer estaba embarazada de nuestras mellizas. Ella lo usó con cierto escepticismo, y saltándose algunas de las fases creo recordar. Siempre es difícil saber si mis niñas son así por naturaleza o el babyplus ha tenido algo que ver, pero desde el minuto uno han sido de lo más espabilado, naciendo con los ojos abierto, sin miedos, aprendiendo todo enseguida, etc. No dejan de sorprenderme. Evidentemente, nos esforzamos cada día con una educación rica en estímulos, pero hoy he visto el babyplus en un cajón y he querido compartir mi opinión. Espero que a alguien le valga de guía. Enhorabuena por esos babys que vienen :)
