It is not made in USA but made in China.Not Pure Bronze but other metal mixed as no bell sound is coming.Box is solid mixed metal but lid is looseNot happy with productPrice of Rs 4816 is very high and not worthy.I thought it is made in USA and shipped from there but to my surprise it is local seller from Mahipalpur Delhi.

This is not stamped sheet metal but is some beefy cast metal. The Medium Bronze I bought came in at 450g, just a whisker under one pound. I was a little put out by the price, but after getting it and feeling the heft I'm fine with it now. The "velvet" is actually some kind of coated plastic material. I can hear it crinkling in the bottom where the cloth doesn't reach the bottom of the box but is suspended above it about 1/8". I'm sure it will rip from the stuff in the box at some point soon. It does look and feel nice though. I really wish I'd paid attention and realized there was no latch or closing mechanism. The weight of the lid makes it secure enough for sitting on a shelf, but I expect this to get some frequent handling and I'd have preferred a little something, anything, to secure that lid. The dimensions and pics on the listing were accurate. People complaining about it being small should really use some paper to fold up a little model using the listed measurements to get a feel for what the dimensions are like IRL.TL;DR - Knowing the poor alternatives to this out there on AMZ and having read the description carefully I'm not disappointed at all because I don't think I could do better in this price range, but with a slightly better lining and some sort of closer/latch I would go from "not disappointed" to "beyond happy".

Bought two of the larger boxes, still small but perfect for my use. I have a large jewelry box for most of my very precious pieces, but these are perfect for trinkets (rings, charm bracelets, etc). They look like beautiful miniatures of old fashioned treasure chests and complement my large jewelry box perfectly. I use one for gold jewelry and one for silver. This way my jewelry is now well organized. The treasure chests are very solid, very durable and very elegant, especially for the price.

This little (even the medium is tiny) 'treasure chest' is quite pretty. It is lined with a velvet like fabric and meant to hold small jewelry. It is great looking! I only wish it came in a larger (full size) as it is that great looking! Even thebottom is smooth - so, if placed on a wooden dresser drawer top - it will not scratch it! Love it - please make it in a full size!

I put some silver dollars and other old coins in it then put it in my grandsons sandbox. He was tickled to death when he found it. The smile and excitement were worth every penny

This treasure chest type box is beautifully designed and the perfect size for my needs. I’m impressed with the quality of workmanship. I would buy it again.
